I have so many positive things to say about this home. Barbara is a fantastic host, her son is helpful and friendly. The home, pond, gazebo and acreage are amazing. Lots of trails just behind the cabin, connecting to state forest trails. This is our second time staying at Barbs place and will totally return in the future.

My wife and I are from Minneapolis and we stayed for three nights as a getaway from the city. Alex was an excellent host in every way— the surroundings were quiet and peaceful, the place itself was absolutely spotless and was decorated with incredible taste and attention to detail (they even provided a bundle of firewood for the fire pit!) We highly recommend this lovely home!

Beautiful place. It snowed while we were there which made for an extra cozy space. Very clean and modern. We made some great meals and enjoyed family time in the main space. Went on a nice hike nearby. Hosts were very communicative and helpful. Hope to visit again in the future.

This place was amazing! My three boys, husband, and dog had such a great peaceful time. There were plenty of things to do in the cabin alone! They have everything fully stocked, including tons of family games, VHS movies to take you back in time, and much more. We loved how peaceful everything was! My kids loved hunting for crawfish, swimming, and riding in the kayaks. It rained almost the entire time until the last night, but honestly, that made it even better and more peaceful. The host was very responsive when we had a little issue with our pup and was extremely helpful and I appreciated that so much. The only thing I would prepare people for is that of course being that secluded/ far out is it well water, which does have a “scent” to it. Other than that everything was absolutely perfect!! Thanks so much for letting us use your home. We would 10000000% recommend.

Very nice accommodations in a quiet setting right on the river. The home is quite new and stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable 4 night visit. It felt just like home, looking forward to our next stay.

My friends and I stayed at Caley’s place for a New Years Eve trip and had everything we needed to make the place our home for 4 days. We cooked several meals in their well-equipped kitchen and spent lots of time playing games and chatting in the spacious living room. The outdoor fire pit was a hit as well! The place was in a great location close to downtown Sister Bay with lots to do. Caley was great at communicating instructions and answering any questions we had during our stay. Would definitely recommend staying here next time you’re in Door County!

One of the best places to stay in downtown. Harley was flexible with us and his apartment is even better than in the pictures & description. Without any doubt this is ***** apartment.

Clean and well organized

It's a beautiful and quiet location just minutes from the shops and restaurants in Sister Bay. As noted in the listing, the hostess lives on site and was there during our stay. Other than seeing her car from time to time, we would not have known if she was home or not. The internet worked great and we were easily able to log into our Netflix account to relax during the evening to watch our favorite shows. This was the perfect place for a long weekend away for me and my husband.

this has that door county feel any inside. Great for friends and small families. The kitchen has everything if you're cooking at home on vacation.

This rental did not disappoint. It is even cuter in person! Everything was very clean and comfortable. The host was welcoming and very responsive. We loved the convenience of the coffee shop and bar across the street. We are very likely to stay here again in the future.

The cabin is in a perfect location to explore Door county. Our host was responsive, the cabin cozy, and the accommodations perfect for our pup who accompanied us.

I definitely really enjoyed my time at the river retreat, Renée had given me a warning telling me that the road was going to be a little rough getting to it. She definitely was not wrong at all was very muddy. Almost got stuck, but once we finally got to the cabin, it was absolutely fantastic. With a beautiful wide river, tons of wildlife and absolute peace. Once we got inside of the cabin, it was super nice and laid out. It was very nice of her to even leave us a card and some chocolates. I would definitely return again.

We had a wonderful stay here! The place was cozy, clean and had everything we needed. Being so close to Lake Michigan was amazing. This cabin is perfect for morning walks and sunset views. We absolutely enjoyed Newport State Park! It is beautiful, quiet and has lots of great trails. And we liked Sister Bay – cute small town with some good restaurants. Would definitely come back! This cabin was in the perfect location that we had for a friends wedding. If you are feeling up to it, safely go down the hill by the river, it is ABSOLUTELY gorgeous and so worth it!

We were in Manistique for a sad occasion and it was so nice to be in Angela’s place during our time. We felt well cared for and comfy during a time of grieving. Thank you so much for the beautiful stay! We’ll definitely be back.

We absolutely loved the cabin. It was so cozy and just so beautiful. I have sent the listing to a couple of my friends who plan on booking the cabin as well.

Durea's place was amazing! First I have to acknowledge she was always SUPER helpful and responsive and she would always respond when emerging travel situations came up which was so nice. The place is also really really awesome. The cabin was more than we expected (totally felt in a glamping situation) and I would say its location is also really good because even though everything is "far" in the UP , the location is very centric to Pictured Rocks, Tahquamenon Falls , Kitchi iti kipi and other things so definitely a place to consider. Outside of that the cabin is really comfortable and they really go out of their way to make you feel at home. The bathrooms were always in super clean condition with running hot water and the cabin itself was super comfortable. Would highly recommend
