Catherine stands out as a host who feels a special connection to the home she shares on Airbnb. She clearly loves the place and is invested in the best possible outcome for everyone. It's more than just a business to her. We did some cooking and baking in the kitchen and felt wowed by how well stocked the kitchen is. It had everything we needed and then some. The home maintains the charm of its history, which we loved. Downtown Grass Valley is so, so nice, and it's just a short walk from A Victorian Rose. I especially appreciated Catherine's recommendation of Caroline's Cafe. That's our kind of cafe, top to bottom. We visited at least four times! Grass Valley itself is such a lovely destination. Five stars all around!

This property is a literal slice of heaven. It's so peaceful and magical and feels worlds away when only being a few minutes to town. The house was one of the most comfortable airbnbs we have stayed in – and we have stayed in many! Our whole family enjoyed it. Great for adults, kids and lots of room for your dog run and explore. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Gil's Grass Valley home is PERFECTION. Truly a character home with magic in every corner: a creek in the backyard, badminton, ping pong, hot tub, huge projector for TV, lot's of comfortable bedrooms, and a rope swing in the kitchen! We had a great month staying at this home and enjoyed the quick walk into Grass Valley, and amazing proximity to Nevada City. It comfortably accommodates guests and feels spacious. Thank you so much Gil and Family for a great month :) We can't wait to visit again!

Peggy was a wonderful host. Great location, short walk to downtown and near to hiking trails. Fantastic private back yard to relax in. Very comfortable and clean unit and we appreciated the extra attention to detail and care that Peggy put into her place. We would highly recommend staying here and hope to be back again. The cabin was clean, comfortable, not too far from town. We had a great weekend, recommending to everyone.

What a paradise this place is! So peaceful and idyllic. The sauna and hot tub area was the highlight of the stay. And we loved getting body treatments from Shari and Mia!

The space was beautiful and very clean and Jeanne was very responsive. There’s also a nice walking path nearby if you have dogs. Highly recommend.

Husband and I stayed at Dawns place for our anniversary. Our stay was peaceful and private. The view was spectacular. Waking up to that view everyday was like a scene out of a movie. The Moon at night was perfect as well. The pictures on the description was exactly what it was like! Thank you Dawn for opening your home to us!

We wish we could have stayed longer! The location was perfect, the host was fantastic, and everything was spotless and comfortable. There was plenty of space—both inside and out—for our group of two couples to relax and enjoy. Highly recommend!

Carol’s space was so cute and serene. The garden outside of the Inkling is so beautifully done and such a nice view to wake up to when opening the window panes. The inside was tastefully decorated, linens felt nice and clean and cozy, and we slept well each night! The surrounding neighborhood proved to be a very nice area to stroll and see wildlife (deer, bats, snakes!) and a 10-15 minute drive to any stores, coffee shops, etc. A wonderful getaway if you’re okay with not walking to restaurants/shops - the trade off is tranquility and nature, and it was so worth it! Donna was super responsive and helpful and the place was incredibly comfortable, clean, well stocked and beautiful. I would 100% stay here again. It has everything you need and is so peaceful and quiet but close to town!

This place is incredible. I took my teen sons primarily for an outdoor fishing experience. They caught 5 bass and a handful of bluegill! This property is in a beautifully safe neighborhood, better than the pictures, so relaxing. We bbqed and fished. The part of the house where you would stay feels like a completely separate house. Extremely clean, very “homey”, modern, stocked with supplies that we didn’t use. More than you need! No kitchen top stove but they do have airfryer, portable stove and 2 bbq pits! Many places to lounge and do. We didn’t even get a chance to play basketball or enjoy everything- kids wanted to fish and be on the water with the kayaks provided- We would absolutely visit again… Many stores close by This place would also be perfect for a couple get away!

What a great spot! So much to explore in the area, and you can find much of it just walking out the door. Low key the coffee setup is very high level -- clearly this is a man for whom caffeine is important, which I appreciated. :-) The deck has a great view of the valley, as does the swing. Great spot to chill and read a book or work on your laptop. As a host, Justin is excellent. Responsive, clear, thorough with instructions and knows this area well. Recommended!

We were delighted with our stay at Bluebird Cottage. Jo Anna and Mark were both extremely nice and welcoming, and the cottage was super clean and very comfortable--we felt at home right away. The view from the cottage is lovely and if the weather had been better during our stay, we would have spent a lot of time on the generous porch. Instead, we cozied up on the comfy couch and window seat, enjoying our books and the great cottage library. We really appreciated having a well-equipped kitchen to prepare meals, and the muffins and bread Jo Anna and Mark made for us on the first day were amazing! The cottage is quiet and peaceful, and we enjoyed exploring nearby Nevada City and surrounding area trails. We look forward to staying here again someday!

Tom was the most gracious host one could ask for. From booking to checkout, Tom made himself available for any and all questions. He provided some insights about finding the house and tips on maneuvering onto the property. He personally met me and my family at check-in, provided us some insights on the property and the area, and helped with access to the lake. The house and grounds are immaculate. Clean, well stocked kitchen, and fresh linens. The property has everything you could ask for with lake, pool and hot tub access. . The private setting is the ultimate topping on the cake. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to connecting with Tom for future trips!

Stayed here with a group of friends - lots of beds so we each got our own, which is rare. The house was well stocked - kitchen, towels, etc. We enjoyed using the indoor/grotto hot tub. Cute shops & restaurants in the area (15-20ish mins). Thanks for a great stay!

Prior to check in all the way through check out, Christian was an extremely communicative host. I really appreciate that there were very clear instructions for everything. Some of us were flying in from out of state and Christian was very accommodating with an early check in. This place is huge and spaciously laid out. We hosted dinner for 12 people multiple nights and with so much space, we never felt like we were on top of each other. Our group spent a ton of time outside-enjoying the relaxing pool and lounging area. The property is maintained and beautiful. We had 3 kids with us who were obsessed with this house! Christian has so much for the kids to do that they never got bored. Seriously - between the cinema room upstairs, pool, water slide, sports outside, foosball, there was never a dull moment which is really saying something for kids! I’d stay here again when I’m in town in a heartbeat. Thank you Christian and your family for the wonderful stay, we sincerely appreciate it

We recently stayed at Don and Kathy’s beautiful home for our son’s wedding weekend and it was absolutely magical. Don and Kathy were incredibly hospitable, always easy to reach, and made us feel so welcome. The home itself is stunning—truly something to experience. The home is well-appointed and thoughtfully designed, offering both comfort and style for a truly relaxing stay. The surroundings felt straight out of a Hallmark movie, with autumn leaves falling and twinkling Christmas lights creating a festive atmosphere. It was cozy, inviting, and felt just like home. We can't wait to come back and stay here again! Thank you, Don and Kathy, for making our special weekend even more memorable!

This was a peak experience staying at this beautiful historic home and expansive property. Kathleen couldn’t have been more helpful and warm before and during our magical stay. There is so much to do on the property that you won’t want to leave. The heated pool was awesome even in Feb and we played with all the games in the garage on the courts too. We picked fresh citrus from the orchard and enjoyed ourselves immensely. We were 15 guests who stayed overnight and everyone had a bed, but there is much more room for additional guests beyond what we had. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and the beds so comfortable. She and her team have really thought of everything! We will not hesitate to go back for another family gathering soon!

Perfect base for visiting Sacramento and surrounding areas. Accommodation was excellent and was perfect for what we required. Close to local amenities and restaurants. We would recommend staying here.

We had a awesome time, our host provided great communication and the house was exactly what we hoped for. The weather was hot and the pool was the perfect, AC was cold for when we couldn't be in the pool. Fun to play pool, chess, cards and watch movies in the theatre room. Great kitchen with everything you need. Thank you for having us.

No words to describe how absolutely thoughtful in every way Heather’s home is. Down to the tiniest detail. She had everything you could need or want and more! I can’t wait to go back. Absolutely beautiful. My version of a Barbie dream home! ♥️
