We felt completely taken care of and right at home from the very first moment. Perfect for anyone who loves nature and genuine hospitality. We’ll definitely be back!

Wir hatten eine tolle Woche in Funauki und kommen gerne wieder. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich und hilft einem bei der Organisation vor Ort. Sie brachte uns oft leckeres Essen vorbei und organisierte uns einen Schnorchelausflug direkt von Funauki aus. Das war sehr schön. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen und viele Tiere gesehen. Der Ida Beach ist ein Traum und wir sind sehr dankbar, dass wir eine ganze Woche an einem so speziellen Ort verbringen durften. Zum 18. Geburtstag meines Sohnes bekam er sogar einen super leckeren Schokoladenkuchen, der in der Schweiz nicht besser gewesen wäre. Ganz herzlichen Dank dafür und wir kommen gerne wieder!!! Wir haben über diese Plattform den Kulturrundgang mit Karolina gebucht gehabt. Das lohnt sich wirklich, um mehr über diese Gegend und das Leben vor Ort zu erfahren.

Loved the place!! It’s located in a quiet area, and the sea view is so calming. The darts and switch kept us entertained, and we wanted to stay for longer! The host was responsive and helpful with our requests. We enjoyed staying in this beautiful house.

This home is so beautiful, wood panels and tatami mats and beautiful hand made dishes! The owner is such a lovely woman, she helped us out so much, made dinner reservations for us (a must on this island!), gave us a lift to a grocery store, picked us up from a local restaurant because it started raining pretty hard-what a genuinely nice and helpful person! It was a delightful stay, thanks in no small part to the owner! Highly recommend!

This is the most memorable Airbnb stay I've ever had. Nagasawa-san accommodated me very last minute and was an exceptional host. I've studied Japanese so we mostly spoke in Japanese the whole time, which was really special for me. He knows everything about Iriomote and is a proactive member of his community, working to restore and sustain Iriomote culture. He took me on a tour of his village and shared so many interesting stories. He also guides hikes, and I joined him on one of his hikes where he also taught us many things about the nature on the island. We talked over a wonderful vegan meal on the last night, and he picked me up from / dropped me off at the nearby Hoshidate bus stop so I was able to travel Iriomote without a car. The space, mere steps away from a beautiful, calm beach, is pristine and I was able to cook for myself in the kitchen. I'm incredibly grateful to him and truly hope to return!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Sakaya. La maison était très jolie, avec un beau jardin, au calme. Le village et les commerces sont à 10 minutes environ à pied. Il y a une belle plage et quelques restaurants. Le bus passe régulièrement, à deux rues de la maison et il est gratuit. Sakaya a été très gentille, toujours prête à aider et tres réactive. Nous recommandons sans hésitation ce logement. Nous avons adoré notre séjour et l'île de Yonaguni, avec son impression d'isolement et de bout du monde...

清潔で良かったです。 商店やバス停、飲食店も近く、立地もとても良かったです。
