This was exactly what we were looking for. it is a rustic cabin in the woods. very comfortable home and private setting. We really enjoyed the space. My husband and I are planning to visit again with our kids. It is a very idyllic setting. Well worth our money. Sergio was responsive and helpful. Was very accurate about his listing and up front on what we would need to bring. Thanks Sergio!!

A fun weekend getaway from the city life. Enjoyed the stillness of this Airbnb. Would recommend hiking around the property (maps inside cabin). Enjoyed the puppies, the roosters, the Amish buggies trotting by at dawn and dusk. The stars at night and the streams rolling through the valley will give you chills. It was the perfect weekend and we will be back!

We loved this property!! We appreciated being able to bring our pups with us and enjoy the scenery!! We absolutely loved the hot tub and to be able to enjoy the sunset from the porch. Highly recommend this property.

The cabin was beautiful- BETTER than the pictures. The host family offers luxury "perks" like wonderful toiletries, pillowtop mattresses and top end pillows, soft blankets rolled up everywhere for guest to use, plush towels, the lights were on when we got there as was the hot tub ready to go. We will definitely be back. What a treat!

Honey Bear Acres was just the quiet get a way we needed. The cabin was off the beaten path yet easily accessible. The landscape was beautiful in the area. We highly enjoyed the recommendations for nearby sight seeing. Even just the view from the walk up the private road was breathtaking. We had everything we needed for the weekend there and more. The wood stove and outdoor fire pit area were perfect. Our only complaint was that the mattress was a bit too firm for our liking but definitely not a deal breaker. We definitely plan to check out other rentals in the area through Justin Time!

It’s close to the river, close to the Stockholm Pie Co., and it’s also secluded and private. Look no further for the perfect place to stay, whether you’re getting away for a weekend of fishing or want to come out and ride on real, active, horse farm!

We needed a place that allowed dogs and Alayna’s Airbnb worked for us. There wasn’t a dog run available; however, there was plenty of grass around her house for the dogs to roam on leash. And, there is a great park just a few blocks away. There were many excellent restaurants within walking distance and most allowed dogs on the porch. And, the biking is world class! Also, there was a bike shed available which really came in handy. Pam and Mike

We had a great stay at the cabin. It was very clean, comfortable, and you can’t beat the view of the river!

What an AMAZING TREASURE of a property!! We stayed in the middle cabin, which is conveniently closest to the restroom but not by any means “too close”. Despite having 3 cabins near each other, the views from the windows for the most part made us feel like we were the only cabin and completely surrounded by nature (the skylights with views of the tree tops from bed really took that “retreat” feeling over the top). Sweet bird chirps gently waking us up in the morning, a little hiking trail that was the perfect challenge and scenic level, and hands down the most shockingly clean and cute restrooms for a wooded surrounding just put icing on the cake. I’m very tempted to make the long drive back to check out some of the other properties she has that look equally as cool! Thanks for everything, Chelsi!

We had a great experience even in the midst of the winter storms. Our cabin was so cute and stayed warm and cozy. Greg was very helpful and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We will definitely stay again.

7 girls on their 1st ever girls trip to a remote cabin in the woods.... 10/10 recommend! The drive there was beautiful, lots of wildlife to see, even on the property. The cabin is just like the pictures. There are the bare essentials as far as kitchen/bathroom supplies, but this isn't the ritz, its a cabin. There is quite the eclectic taste of knick knacks everywhere throughout the cabin. It was fun fiding different treasures througout the weekend and even sometimes comical. We unfortunately were not able to use the hot tub because it was being replaced but the hosts worked with us on ways to compensate us to make up for it. I've never met Charity but after having one conversation with her on the phone, she felt like my best friend after! We enjoyed reading, walks, plenty of games, Bob Ross paintings on the patio and laughing until we were crying. We only had one close encounter with a rabbit upon our arrival but we all fared well in the end! We will definitely be trying to come back!

Absolutely beautiful, clean and well appointed home! Very comfortablehad everything we could possibly need and more and the view is breathtaking! So much seating outdoors and in and Nancy was a very helpful when we arrived late at night and had trouble finding the location she got us there and in the door. We cannot wait to go back!

Great place for a private getaway. The outdoor space was peaceful besides the cabin for short stays. Very well maintained and much recommend for the value. Star gazing is something that couldn’t be missed.

We really enjoyed our stay at porcupine cottage! Host was very communicative, place felt like home, beds were very comfortable and plenty of board games to keep busy on a cold winter night. Great first vacation with our two under two!

We (two adults and a dog) enjoyed everything about this cabin. The best part was watching sunrises over the Black River through the living room windows while we enjoyed our coffee. All the furniture was comfortable. The host also had thoughtful items around for use, like bug spray, campfire marshmallows, and dog toys. We had a peaceful weekend here.

We needed to move vacation houses due to some crazy weather and flooding in the general area. Barrett's place was exactly what we needed. It had plenty of space to walk the dog near the river, the beds were super comfy, the internet was great, and the host was super responsive to my questions!

Cozy cabin in remote location. This is your small house country living with super friendly and accommodating hosts. Once you give the OK, Ted the dog will be your shadow. Bring some bug spray to walk in the woods or use the disc golf course. The Mondovi area has some of the best people in the world and Maria and her family represent that.
