Great little stay at the sleep out. Erika was very responsive to our questions. Kids loved being so close to the playground! Perfect for a little adventure.

Unfortunately a cyclone rolled through while I was staying at Vicki‘s place. I got to walk around the first day that I was there and enjoyed the house for an evening, but the power went out so I had to cut my stay short. When I woke up, Vicki had left pancakes and hot water for me to make coffee. She also gave me a refund for my second night. She had gone above and beyond to make my stay as enjoyable as it could be under the circumstances.

Such a stunning spot. Tea’s place was everything we were hoping for and more. We just loved the vibe of the space for endless rounds of cards and snuggling up at night, listening to the roar of the sea. The perfect spot for connecting with family and faves.

Lorna's bach is a true little gem in a hidden paradise, just a few minutes from the beach, quite spacious, modern apartment with own terrace. it's possible to use the SUP board and paddle over to the beautiful sandspit - a highlight in itself! Lorna is an amazing host, so kind, caring and helpful! Best accommodation i have stayed at in NZ. Highly recommended!

We loved our stay in the cabin. The view overlooking the bay was amazing and we saw some great sunsets. The space was really comfortable and tidy. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Great, knowledgeable host. pointed us int he right directions for great fishing locations, which was what we were there to do and has the best view. I could almost launch the boat from the deck. A+++

I have to confirm what many people have already said. A quiet and clean place to relax after a busy week. Just a few minutes' drive from the beach or the village.

Debra’s studio was perfect for our 2 day weekend with all the comforts of home and a breakfast starter kit that was perfect since we arrived in the evening. My husband and I were very impressed with all the extras included and to wake up to the amazing view was breathtaking! We would highly recommend Debra’s studio to anyone wanting to relax and soak in the view and explore the surrounding area. We had such a lovely time staying at Rhiannon’s place! She was so friendly and welcoming, and even let my daughter play on her kids' trampoline and slides — it made her day. The property is beautiful, super private, and surrounded by trees with tons of space to enjoy. Rhiannon was really quick to respond whenever we needed anything and gave us great tips on places to visit nearby. You can tell she genuinely cares about her guests. We felt right at home and would definitely love to come back!

Eileen's place is great! We stayed for a couple weeks. Even though it's not a full kitchen it's well equipped for some cooking. The gardens and view are beautiful and the place feels like a home. The food and tea/coffee provided was very generous. It was really lovely chatting with Eileen and we really appreciated her local knowledge. Highly recommend :)

This was our second stay. Our previous stay was about 3 months ago. Would definitely stay here again. Denise and Craig are wonderful friendly people and the home is quite comfortable, peaceful and quiet. My husband visited the sheep every morning and evening. We looked for the rabbits every time we drove the driveway and evening saw them in the backyard a few times.

Nous avons passé une seule nuit dans le logement et c'est dommage. Nous aurions bien aimé y rester plus longtemps pour profiter pleinement de la maison très agréable et fonctionnelle. Au top ! Environnement magnifique. Tania et Steve très sympathiques. Le jardin est magnifique avec toutes sortes de plantes et arbres fruitiers. Je recommande sans problème !

Elaine was so lovely! She gave us recommendations for food! She was so kind with the wood fire she would help us keep it running! Location is absolutely beautiful and will be back :)

Beautiful property to stay at with generous, attentive and friendly hosts. Loved the little extras offered and fresh orange juice from the orchard! Lovely accommodation with everything you need, yummy comfy beds and a massive TV if that's your thing. Hard to beat on a beautiful morning when it's bathed in early sunlight. Take your shoes off for grounding and wander around the orchard. Lovely. Won't stay anywhere else when visiting Whangarei unless it's already booked! Booo. 😂 Highly recommend you stay here. 15min drive to town centre. Easy Peasy

We had a peaceful stay at Nigel's place, the house was spacious, clean, and tidy. It was a quick drive to local shops and cafes. We would definitely stay again.
