Such a beautiful home and the most amazing views, the house was also a lot bigger than we expected! We really enjoyed our weekend here it was very relaxing and Alister was super friendly and very accommodating! We would definitely stay again if we are in the area again. Thanks Alister! :)

Fab location in the heart of the city! Amazing deck overlooking the ferry building you could spend all day just watching the comings and goings. Easy walk to great eateries, Britomart and Commercial Bay. Amanda is a very responsive and thoughtful host.

Michael was the host that we worked with and he was wonderful!! He was very responsive, friendly and gave us great recommendations! We really enjoyed our stay!!

Michael, We would like to thank you for affording us the opportunity to stay at your place. Getting away from the hustle and bustle of life gave us the chance to switch off, relax and take in nature. The views are amazing and getting out on the kayaks paddling around the island and visiting the smaller secluded islands like Pembles island isn’t something you get to experience often. We would also like to acknowledge and thank you for making this booking so easy. Your communication has been outstanding, directions and instructions were clear and we could not have asked for a better host. We highly recommend Micheal and staying at the Tree house at Kawau Island.

we've stayed at 6 bachs in Piha now, and this is the best. not cheap, but you get what you pay for. great facilities, great decor and lots of nice touches and location is unbeatable with views over the beach. one thing is that the upstairs and downstairs are 2 separate units both with their own bathrooms and kitchens. this would be great for 2 couples, one with a kid or two, but the levels are not internally connected. we just had it for the two of us and never went to the lower level.

Had a lovely stay at Kathy’s place. Beds were comfy, kitchen well stocked, and really enjoyed the view from the dining area. Kathy was very helpful and kind. Weather had us changing plans but hope to come back in the future!

It was my first family holiday since 2017. The AirBnB was a new experience for me, but the hosts were respectful and their place was wonderful! I was able to bring our 2 x dogs which was great and I took them for a walk every morning, greeting others with their dogs on the way. My adult children loved being able to hang out at the beach and sit in the hot tub or use the kayaks on offer. My husband unfortunately worked every day but was able to enjoy to peace and quiet at night. Having a washing machine was practical and saved my workload when we returned home. We visited Charlies Gelato which was yum and I was able to purchase some beautiful wine from Brick Bay vineyard. Matakana was disappointing it felt like Auckland with long lines of traffic and expensive products however, the lady at Honest Chocolate was lovely. We fished off Scotts Landing and caught 5 legal snapper. All in all, I would highly recommend this AirBnB, absolutely the best holiday in a very long time. Thank you.

The host was incredibly helpful throughout my stay, always available to answer any questions or provide recommendations for things to do in the area. The place itself was spacious, clean, and tidy - everything I could ask for in an Airbnb. The amenities were top-notch, and the decor was modern and stylish. I felt right at home as soon as I arrived. The location was also perfect - with nearby transport available, it was easy to explore the surrounding area. Wonderful stay with wonderful host. Host was really friendly and provided great suggestions for Auckland touring. The location was quiet but close to fun restaurants. The unit was spotless and beautifully decorated. Comfy bed with nice linens. Everything you might need in kitchen, bath and closet. Lots of nice hangers in closet- my pet peeve. Like staying at a nice resort. Highly recommended.

Due to a mistake with Airbnb, I had to check out later than expected but Gali was more than welcoming and accommodating. A kind, friendly and interesting host. Great location to walk down to the beach, or just hang out on the balcony and take in the views. Gorgeous, can’t wait to come back.

Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen!! Die Unterkunft ist eine 15 min. Fährenfahrt von Auckland entfernt. Zum Devonport Ferry Terminal geht man ungefähr 20 min. zu Fuß. Die Zeit vergeht jedoch sehr schnell da der Weg direkt am Meer entlang geht. Der „Cheltenham Beach“ Strand ist vielleicht 50m von der Unterkunft entfernt, perfekt für entspannte Abende am Meer. Die Unterkunft selbst ist sauber, mit frisch renoviertem Bad und schönem Wohnzimmer mit sensationellem Ausblick zum Meer. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und es war alles wirklich sehr sauber! Nun zu den Besitzern der Unterkunft. Bruce und Karen sind mit Abstand die nettesten Airbnb Hosts die ich bisher kennenlernen durfte. Nicht zu aufdringlich und immer extrem hilfsbereit und fürsorglich. Ich kann das Airbnb jedem herzlich empfehlen!

We had a wonderful weekend in Omaha. The house is well located withing walking distance to beautiful Omaha beach and the local shops and playground. The house is spacious for hosting a family. Although our children are a bit young, there were plenty of bikes, boogie boards and a kayak to borrow.

For a basic “basement suite”, this accommodation has lots of light, is clean and comfortable, close to a great little coffee shop and very convenient to get on the highway to head south or get to the airport. We had another great stay and appreciate how friendly and responsive our hosts were!

Suyun was a great host and was very responsive in communications. We had a problem with one of the locks and he was extremely quick to respond and to bring someone over to fix the issue. The house has a beautiful lounge with a great view for relaxing.

Had an amazing stay at Jill’s waterfront apartment! The place was spotless, comfortable, and exactly as described. Waking up to stunning water views was a highlight, and the location was perfect—close to everything but peaceful and relaxing. Would absolutely recommend and hope to stay again!

We loved the bay view with gorgeous early morning lighting and sunset lighting and beautiful sailboats anchored in the bay. We saw dolphins swimming across the bay from the deck. Shelly Beach was lovely, and shelly. We enjoyed our hikes and the local wineries. Sue could not have been more helpful to us. We'll be back!

The photos don’t do this place justice. An absolute gem of a place. Stayed for a week and it was my most satisfying and relaxing holiday in an airbnb in 13 years. Tastefully decorated, very private, and easy quick access to Stanmore Bay beach. Dave is a phenomenal host. His communication with me before the stay was terrific. He was eager to make sure we got settled in comfortable, but then allowed us to enjoy the airbnb without any unnecessary interruptions. An ace of a host! I absolutely fell in love with this location and won’t hesitate to book again when on the peninsula. Thank you for an outstanding stay, Dave!

We loved staying at Haley’s place. She was super helpful getting us checked in as I had totally failed to download the instructions prior to our arrival. The space feels very private and has a walking trail to a nice park and swimming beach. The bed is very comfortable. The tranquil atmosphere of the unit made it feel like a home away from home

This house is absolutely stunning. It sits on a private beach with magnificent sea views and a big deck looking out over the ocean. It’s surrounded by native bush, loads of birds and a feeling of privacy & serenity. The ocean-facing doors and windows all open up so it has a wonderful indoor/outdoor flow. There’s a lovely hot tub with a sea view too! Downstairs, there are the living spaces and upstairs, the bedrooms. The bedrooms are lovely - three large rooms with double (maybe queen or king??) beds, as well as two ‘kids rooms’ with twin beds and/or bunks. Two of the larger double rooms have private balconies & ensuites. It’s a beautiful & delightful house. Very well appointed. Perfect for a larger group, close to Matakana, Omaha and all of the lovely things to do there. We’ll be back!
