We had a great time at the Well, conviniently located short drive to West Bay, 5 min walk to climbing center and soft play for younger kids, close by supermarkets and pubs with great food. Apartment itself is very cosy and clean courtyard is a cherry on top, with beautyfull gas BBQ .As for hosts Sal and David are exeptionally attentive, helpfull and kind people. Recomend this place as excelent base while discovering Dorset.

I stayed at Shepherd Oak from February to March during my 6 week placement as a student at the hospital in Dorchester and loved having such a lovely, quiet place to retreat to in the evenings after busy weekdays. The cottage and its surroundings were very clean and tidy and its location is beautiful and very peaceful. The town of Upwey in general is also lovely and I spent my weekends discovering the walks around the area and frequenting the most gorgeous tearoom I've ever been in (the Wishing Well tearoom just down the road!) so for me the cottage couldn't have been in a more perfect location! The host and co-host, Helen and Gemma, were very friendly and communicative throughout my stay and overall I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Shepherd Oak and would wholly recommend to anyone. Thanks Helen and Gemma for a wonderful stay!

We had a superb 4 night stay at The Victorian Barns, staying in the lovely Lodge. The property was set in beautiful private grounds with its own larger indoor heated swimming pool, huge activity barn (complete with table tennis and badminton court) and plenty of land and lakes to walk our two Springer Spaniels around! Our host Claire gave us lots of information before our stay and also answered any questions that we had during our time there. Their on site EV charger was a god send allowed us to to-up our car at the end of the day after trips out. All in all we loved our stay and we hope to visit again soon!

Kirsty and Gary’s caravan was lovely. Very cosy and clean, loved the patio! The duvet covers were super soft and comfy as well. The park is not even a 5 minute walk from Bowleaze Cove, and you can get into town in about 30 minutes walking, or 15 minutes by car. Guest passes are included so you can use the on site club which is lovely. The hosts were very professional and friendly, and responded quickly whenever necessary! Definite recommend and will stay again if we have the opportunity!

The host and reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly. A couple of issues we had on arrival were swiftly dealt with in a friendly and efficient manner. Our host was very flexible and went out of her way to ensure we were happy during our stay. The location of the accommodation is excellent and it sits in an amazing area. It's quiet, rural and very pretty. We look forward to visiting again.

This lodge was just perfect for a relaxing week away, which was just what we needed. It was immaculately clean, well set out and well equipped. We loved the fact that our children and dog could explore and play freely and safely, and the lodge was well fenced and very dog friendly. We would definitely recommend, and would love to visit again ourselves.

Great host, really good communicator and very responsive to any questions. Easy to follow instructions for check in and they had left a lovely gift for my daughter as it was her 3rd Birthday, which was a very kind and personal touch. We made use of the private chef and hot tub which were both excellent. The house was immaculate and great for kids too, with plenty of toys and a large enclosed garden. We would definitely stay here again.

Great place Fabulous location Easy to use appliances. Two things that were annoying Coffee machine was not cleaned did message steve and a lot of spider webs on the outside f the property Only 2 downsides. Would definitely go back

Joe was a great host and provided all information requested. Arrival was straightforward plenty of space. House was clean and welcoming. Photos need updating as property has been extended further. Shepherd hut in Garden was a great addition however it is cited at the bottom of a steep incline. The hot tub was a great addition and used well journey to the beach was about 15 minutes and parking was difficult but manageable. Shops et cetera were a short drive from the house. There were not many places to eat locally but plenty of takeaways if you needed them. A very enjoyable week in a lovely area about 30 minute drive to New Forest. Definitely worth considering.

Large family with young children, all had a great stay. Lots of open space. Shame there isn’t one more bathroom! But can’t be helped. All in all had a wonderful stay. Playroom is great for young kids. They loved the garden and then swing/slide. Great communication, very professional.

Fantastic location, very peaceful. Lovely setup within the lodge and great additional feature with the private sauna. All round very good and everyone was excited to stay over.

As a large group of friends getting together, the lodge was ideal; with eight separate beds, plenty of space, multiple ensuite bathrooms and a separate additional bathroom, alongside the bonus of a sauna. The resort was easy to find, with generous parking outside (we had five cars and a car trailer between us!). The kitchen was well stocked and laid out (you might need to bring an additional tea towel as only one is supplied) dishwasher tabs, UHT milk all provided. The oven was immaculate, and perfect for cooking multiple meals for the eight of us. Smart TV, fast free easy access WiFi, a beautiful and quiet location, with plenty of walks and places of interest nearby. The reception staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating.

We had such a lovely stay at Kate’s place. It was just what we needed…. Relaxing, peaceful with beautiful surroundings and views. The Chalet has been nicely decorated and has everything you’d need for a comfortable stay. There are activities onsite and lots to do locally. We especially loved our visits to Portland Bill. We’d definitely come back another time. Thanks for a wonderful stay. :-)

Wanted to get away for Easter and needed a base to explore and this delivered. Nice comfy beds for after a long day exploring. Clean and fresh and the bathroom was roomy which helped showering my 3 year old as i could close the door and still dry him off ok. Nice quiet area of the park, its a shame the weather didnt play ball so we could enjoy the outside space. I would book again as host lovely and having welcome goodies was a lovely touch Thank you so much for hosting us when others wouldnt with my 3 year old

Gregory was helpful, very responsive to emails. The chalet is in the most spectacular location with sunsets galore and a beach visible from the chalet. The Downs are also visible. It's quiet and peaceful. Freshwater and Yarmouth are close by with their own beaches and village centres. There's a good curry house called Jaffran, both restaurant and take away in Freshwater, which I believe will deliver as far as the chalet. The chalet is very nice, comfortable beds with good cupboard space. The kitchen is clean and well stocked, the bathroom as well. The shower is quick to heat up, with good water pressure. I definitely will stay here again if I come back to the Island. Thanks Gregory.

We had a lovely stay and didn't want to come home. Fantastic accommodation and location. Highly recommend the Hive Beach front restaurant just 30 secs door to door. Best Lemon Sole and the Kippers for breakfast were delicious. We will definitely come back xxxx

Absolutely recommend Amanda's Chalet to stay. I stayed for a week. The place was beautifully presented as described in the listing. Everything was clean. Beautiful peaceful setting, Easy walk to the seafront and Colwell Bay. I found the bed very comfortable, the Chalet had everything I needed for a relaxing break. Would return again, thank you Amanda 😊

I really liked the place. The sunset view from bedroom and carpark(right in front of the house) is incredibly beautiful. House was clean and only 15 min drive to needles attraction landmark. Overall, very pleased with the stay. Definitely recommend to everyone.
