Wir haben den Aufenthalt bei Linda und Jay sehr genossen. Der Empfang durch Jay war sehr freundlich und wir haben uns gleich wohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist wunderbar. Der Garten bietet viele Sitzgelegenheiten und liegt sehr schön. Man glaubt gar nicht, dass man in der Stadt ist. Der Kühlschrank war sehr gut mit Wasser und Milch gefüllt, so dass wir fast nicht einkaufen mussten. Auch Kaffee, Brot und Snacks lagen bereit. Nochmals vielen Dank dafür! Die Bushaltestelle ist nur ein paar Meter vom Haus entfernt und man kommt mit Bus und U-Bahn sehr gut ins Stadtzentrum von Washington. In der Umgebung gibt es auch einige interessante Plätze zum Anschauen, z.B. das Fort Ward. Linda und Jay hatten uns schon bei der Buchung einige Tipps für den Aufenthalt gegeben, z.B. wie man sich im Kapitol zu einer Führung anmeldet, so dass wir den Aufenthalt perfekt planen konnten. Wir können die Unterkunft nur wärmstens empfehlen.

The location has a beautiful view and was peaceful. The house had all the amenities listed, and eclectic decor that made it homey. We enjoyed coffee on the patio in the morning overlooking the hillside. There were clear instructions about house rules/check in/check out. They called us immediately when they got our message that gps took us to the wrong place. I do wish we had the ability to adjust the thermostat. Since the hosts weren't home, it couldn't be adjusted, and we were chilly.

This place was perfect - we went into the city one day, and it was cozy. She left us snacks and homemade banana bread. It was the perfect place and parking was super easy. Would definitely stay at again!

Great place to stay during the apple blossom festival! Had everything we needed.

We (three of us) really enjoyed our stay at Jennifer and Dan’s River Bend Retreat. The accommodations were excellent. The three of us were very comfortable throughout our stay. Two stayed in the queen bed room (which includes a very nice sitting room) and one in the bunk bed room. As soon as we arrived we walked (about 10 minutes) on the C&O canal trail to Taylor’s Landing on the Potomac which has a beautiful view of the river’s bend. The house’s location was very accessible to the Antietam Battlefield, Sharpsburg, Sheperdstown and Harper’s Ferry (which we visited all in one day). We found Jennifer to be very pleasant and very responsive to any questions we had through messages on the Airbnb app. The rates we paid for the experience were very reasonable! Not to mention the gratis snacks and drinks that Jennifer had thoughtfully laid out for us! We were very pleased with all aspects of our stay. I expect to stay there again in the future!

Jimmie and his wife were very welcoming! We had a fantastic stay and cannot thank them enough for sharing their home and beautiful farm. The suite had everything as described and was perfect for our stay in the area.

Nalins place was exactly as described. It is huge, quiet, clean and super close to Dulles Airport. We enjoyed staying there very much and can recommend it without hesitation. Beds were super comfortable!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was as if we were staying at our creative friends’ really cool home. Had been planning to do some local hiking, but the weather didn’t cooperate. Instead, we had a peaceful morning enjoying the view of the creek and critters and took the dog out for a walk on the sculpture trail during a break in the rain. Sarah was an excellent host, proactively giving all the instructions we needed. The property has all the amenities you might need, with everything thoughtfully labeled and easy to find. The host has thought of every detail to ensure a comfortable and easy stay, and the art in the place complements the natural surroundings and makes your stay that much more interesting and fun. Highly recommend. Hope to stay there again.

I would definitely choose to stay here again if the opportunity arises. I really enjoyed it and it was extremely convenient. To help make your stay enjoyable as well, please read the description and communicate with the host to ask any questions. Know that there is no blackout blind in the bedroom. Also there is a mechanical or maybe water sound that has a low, constant drone near the bedroom. At the time of my stay, the young person of the house seemed to be up around 7:30ish and down at night around 7ish. Be prepared to get your feet wet if dew or rain as you have to walk through grass to get to the back of the house. Hope this helps.

Everything was put together for an enjoyable stay. The bed was comfy. The heated floors in the bathroom were nice. Location was great. All around great stay.

Beautiful place to stay during our trip to visit Gettysburg. Well-stocked with snacks, coffee, and brochures and maps for local attractions which we needed for our daily trips in town! Also had treats available for the dog, which was a very sweet touch.

Laura and Wayne were very accommodating and their place was lovely! We were only there for a quick weekend wedding, but the loft was very clean and Laura even washed my suit shirt I stained. Would recommend to anyone passing through Warrenton!

My husband and I took a trip to West Virginia during my spring break. We found this Air B&B and it was one of the best we’ve stayed at. The location was great to check out Harper’s Ferry and surrounding areas (checkout Shepardstown if you get the chance). We loved hanging outside by the fire pit and appreciated the board games available inside. Every detail big and small has been thought out by the hosts and we were thoroughly impressed! From the cleanliness to the decor to the modern feel, we truly enjoyed our time! Great option to stay if visiting the Harper’s Ferry area!

My husband and I are familiar with this area, as we lived nearby for years prior to relocating in retirement. Came back for a week-long visit and wanted a private location to stay at. Harry and Marie's place was perfect. Quiet, easily accessible, peaceful location. I'm all about cleanliness, and they were spot-on. Plenty of useful items in the neat little kitchen area (with coffee and creamers to get us started!) I particularly liked the induction cooktop and put it to good use! The living room area is large and very comfortable! My husband especially enjoyed the recliner (It felt like home.) Bathroom spotless, plenty of towels and toiletries, great water pressure. They thought of everything...night lights, spring water, Roku TV with Wi-Fi access, movies and books. Harry and Marie were both there to welcome us and checked early on that we felt comfortable. I'm likely leaving out some other good info, but suffice it to say, we enjoyed our stay at Harry and Marie's!

This property is beautiful, the space itself is below the hosts living space, we arrived around 10p at night, the rules of the house are very clear, quiet time at 11p...my kids and I are all adults and we were exhausted so this wasn't an issue. Having said that, because you are below the hosts, you hear everything that goes on upstairs. Foot steps, pet paw nails, thumps...and they happen after eleven...just sayin. If you are a light sleeper, this isn't going to be the best place to stay. We needed 3 beds, the bedroom, is VERY comfortable and big, bathroom was big too. The sleeper sofa is not the best, the pillow end leans lower than the feet and the mattress rolls you to the middle. The third sleeping option is a mini futon. My 5'9 18 yr old made due but it was rough. Overall, it's a great place which is why I gave 5*'s, just know it's limitations.

Lenah’s place was comfortable and clean. The location was ideal, for our visit, we attended a wedding at Great Marsh estates and it was less than a 5 minute drive.The apartment was also well-equipped with everything we needed. We especially loved the outside area with cows, horses, goats, and Alpacas running around in the neighbors fenced yard. We enjoyed watching them while relaxing on the front porch. We also took a ride to Crockets Park and walked the trails and explored the park. It was a beautiful spot with a lake, pedal boats and canoe rentals when in season. I recommend Lenah’s place if you want to relax and enjoy nature.

Maria was absolutely fantastic as a host. She was responsive and kind and the place was great and in a very safe area. We loved how accessible it was to downtown.

My fiance, myself and our 17 month old had a wonderful stay at Sol’s place. They had everything we needed for the baby and then some plus tons of toys to keep him happy and entertained. All instructions and information were very clear. We would stay here again when in the area.

We stayed at Leonardo’s place while touring colleges in DC. It’s a beautiful, very clean apartment in excellent neighborhood, walkable to Georgetown. Being able to park on a driveway was a huge plus, given the parking rules in DC. Leonardo’s apartment has everything you may need and then some. I would absolutely stay there again!

Clean, comfortable stay in up-to-date setting. Beautiful neighborhood with proximity to restaurants and reasonable uber ride to downtown area.

Susan’s place was the perfect spot for our weekend. The pictures do not do it justice! The decor was tasteful and thoughtful throughout. The morning of checkout we were greeted with scones fresh from the oven. Will definitely revisit when we are in the area.
