Lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The service was fantastic from start to end. The food at the restaurant was excellent as well as the staff. The room was quaint and original suiting the lovely building it was in. Lovely pool area. The room was immaculately cleaned and pulled down for the evening. Lovely touch with the Easter bunny chocolates. Definitely recommend , thank you!!

We spent two wonderful nights in a charming cottage for a wedding. Kathrine was a fantastic host—warm, welcoming, and full of great recommendations for exploring the town and its beautiful surroundings. The cottage was comfortable and had everything we needed. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Thanks Katherine

We had a lovely stay at Rijk's. The accommodation was spacious and well appointed and the settings on the vineyard were really memorable. We loved going on walks through the peaceful surroundings. ine tasting the next morning after breakfast was the highlight, as you would expect!

Blue Bay Lodge… just WOW. I can't stop thinking about what an amazing time we had. The whole team there is just incredible - Tracey Lee, Deveney, Tieka, Larishka, Yusef, Bonga, and Nomini made us feel so welcome from the second we walked in. Not in that over-the-top hotel way, but just genuinely lovely people who took such good care of us. Nothing was too much trouble (thanks again for the Uno cards!) Had some great chats with Yusuf (he’s a legend) and Bonga, the cocktail master himself. Still dreaming about the flavours!! The food? Absolute standout. Those oysters were insane, and don't even get me started on the mussels - seriously next level stuff. And Nomini, your service and friendly character made everything even more special. It’s so amazing to be in a place where you don’t want for anything else. Already plotting our next trip back (literally started planning in the car on the way home 😂). If you're thinking about staying here, just do it. You won't regret it!

We stayed at Wanderlust for two nights. Lizaan welcomed us with a friendly smile and showed us the unit. What a pleasure it was chatting with her. It is a peaceful and well appointed flatlet. Lizaan has thought of everything. It is also priced well. We can highly recommend it.

Had such a wonderful stay although it was so short, I will definitely be back in future! What stood out the most for me was how beautiful my room was... from the stand alone lux bath, fire place, beautiful hard wood furniture, the private outdoor sun beds and jacuzzi, and the most gorgeous decor and style! Couldn't have asked for more!! Thank you again for the lovely experience!

My friends and I had such a beautiful time here. Can’t beat a cold plunge in the river followed by a hot tub under the stars! Lucky, the property manager, is super kind and helpful, and Ma’ayan and Justin are equally so. Would highly recommend visiting McBains for a quiet weekend amongst the mountains.

A fantastic period establishment in the heart of historic Tulbagh. The hosts, Jayson and Marcel, have gone out of their way to make their establishment faithfully authentic. Jayson and Marcel are very accommodating, and Charmaine at the front desk is a friendly, helpful, and very gracious. All in all, a very pleasant experience.

Our stay was great, from the modern and clean house, to its location slightly remote from the city but still close enough to it. But the best part has to be the view over the lagoon obviously ! I nice weekend away to unwind looking at the changing colors of the lagoon !
