Sleeps 2, 1 bed (full). The city does not allow overnight parking on downtown streets, but there are two free well lit municipal lots each about a block from our building.

Our place is a cozy hideaway on the second floor of a historic building in downtown Story City. It is a sweet little town to relax in that is an easy 15-minute drive to Ames and all its amenities. The studio apartment has just been renovated into a Scandinavian-themed sanctuary. The living room has a fold-out couch that sleeps two, a smart TV, and a kitchenette. The bedroom has a very comfy queen-sized bed and the 3/4 bath has all you need to get away in comfort. Free parking is right outside.

The kitchen, dining area, full bath and comfortable living room are also on main level. Laundry and additional 3/4 bath are located in basement. I have enhanced cleaning and disinfecting of frequently used areas due to COVID-19.

This sweet little house is tucked at the edge of the quiet town of Ellsworth, Iowa, and only 20 miles north of Ames. This house is a great place to stay while visiting family, attending a function at Iowa State University, visiting or attending a function at Mended Hearts Quilting or the many other local festivities.
