Kayaks are provided to explore island studded 462 acre Jones pond, a 10 minute walk down a trail. A 10 minute drives brings you to the less visited Schoodic section of Acadia NP, where a network of hiking and biking trails lace the coastal forests and dramatic rocky coast. Nearby Winter Harbor has shops and restaurants and even a ferry across the bay to Bar Harbor and Mount Desert Island.

A quick walk to the beach or pond, you’re not too far away to run back for lunch or take an afternoon nap. Also, the house is fully heated and is suitable for the cooler months!

This is one of two cabins on this property and sits at a high elevation giving our guests spectacular views of the East Machias River. Individuals or a couple will be comfortable in this unique space. This is a very large apartment in downtown Eastport, with wonderful views, a great location, and a private parking place. It is a third floor walk-up, so be prepared to climb some stairs, but the views and the comfortable accommodations are worth it.
