Local lore is this was the home of a canal lock keeper or the gate house keeper. Secluded location away from town. NOT A PARTY HOUSE/owner on site in garage apartment. This cottage is an older structure with a rustic charm, includes a full kitchen with island seating, 1 full bath, 2 half baths, washer/dryer and sleeps 8 nicely. Pets are welcome. The well water is tested safe, but contains minor amounts of hydrogen sulfide which produces some odor (please see below).
