We will first wander the city's hidden alleyways, courtyards, and back lanes to see historic sites including China Town, Market Square, Bastion Square, the Inner Harbour, and the waterfront area. As we stroll around Victoria, you will learn a lot about its history and culture. In the meantime, we will discover the younger and newer side of Victoria. I will show you the local gems on the way and recommend some vibrant coffee shops, pubs, and restaurants to you. After finishing this walk, you will gain familiarity with the city and feel much more comfortable wandering and discovering Victoria by yourself. This 2-hour walking tour begins at the Victoria Public Market and includes stops at The Harmonious Gates of Interest, Fan Tan Alley, Market Square, Bastion Square, Trounce Alley, Government St., the Inner Harbour Causeway, and Parliament Buildings. Depending on the day, there are 6 tastings along the route, as we discuss the history and quirks of beautiful Victoria, B.C. Tastings can include, pierogis, meatballs, craft beer chocolate, and much more! Other things to note Tours operate rain or shine. Guests should come prepared for all weather possibilities. Guests are to arrange their own transportation to starting location. Note the finish location is different than the start location.

Our Trail Rides are in small private groups from 1 to 5 guests. We meet at the Maple Heart Ranch - Homestead. Depending on the riding experience of the guest, I pick the horse suitable for each guest. The guests will get, to brush and help saddle the horses and get them ready. I do help, where help is needed. This way the horse and the rider will get to know each other and can build a relationship. To start we spend 15 to 20 Minutes in the riding arena, to build up the confidence between rider and horse and get a introduction into riding a horse. After that we will ride to the Trans Canada Trail. The trail leads into old grow forest and along the Shawnigan Creek, different terrains and elevation makes it an interesting ride for beginners and experienced riders. We will be back around 1 pm. Where the guest can help to untack the horses and lead them back to the pasture.

We will take you on an excursion to Sandy island only accessible by boat. This is a designated marine park with picturesque walking trails. You are transported to the island by a dingy or jet ski. We have all the safety equipment. Option 2. Choose to ride on one of our water towables- spinner is unique to our area!!

A guided hike through beautiful lake and mountain scenery, hosted by Pickles and Peanut, French Alpine goat brothers! Their "parents" come too, to ensure you are guided on the less-busy but still human-accessible trails. On the two hour adventure we will: - Meet at Grafton Lake parking area next to Grafton Road. - Start with 10 minutes of intros and "Goat 101" to learn how to safely interact with Peanut and Pickles. - Walk around the lake. - Stop at viewpoints along the way, where we'll offer to take photos of you with the goats. - End back where we started. Private hike options include: - Customized trail route such as up to the lookout in our main photo, or to cool natural tree forts! - Special arrangements for a longer, more challenging hike to the summit of the iconic Mount Gardner. A few considerations: Families as well as dogs on leashes are welcome, but please note that Peanut and Pickles are still growing and their headbutt play behaviour may intimidate children and dogs. You are welcome to request dates, but these will be considered "private hikes". This adventure is "rain or shine"! The boys look adorable in their rain coats, so (pending a major storm) we'll enjoy whatever mother nature brings our way. The boys can't wait to show you their beautiful backyard!

Meet our two saanen goats Sage and Rosemary at the barn. Your human guide will lead you on a walk along forest roads, clearings with beautiful views, through small hidden path that takes you through the beautiful forest filled with ferns, moss and shady pine trees. Watch the goats frolic and learn about them while feeding them some hay pellets provided to you.

(Don't see your dates? Contact me!) Spring and Summer evenings at Parksville Beach are full of energy and activity and this is where our walking tour begins ... We will stroll along the boardwalk and I'll be sharing local history related to the beach and resort area, as well as the city at large with the guests. We will then move down onto the beach where guests can take off their shoes and socks and sink their toes into the sand. We’ll make our way to our evening picnic spot where they'll watch the sun setting over the ocean water in the bay, while enjoying a local charcuterie selection full of delicious cheeses, meats, dried fruits and crackers, amongst other items. Local stories will be shared and connections made between guests. It's the perfect way to end a Vancouver Island day!

We will take pictures following Tofino's world renowned beaches and old growth forests. Including white sand beaches, boardwalks, and trees dating back before europeans ever stepped foot on these lands! Definitely one of the most photogenic places in Canada. We will be paddling on the Tofino inlet fed by the Pacific Ocean. We are surrounded by coastal temperate rainforest and enjoy gentle flat waters of Clayoquot Sound, with views of Meares Island and Bedwell mountains! We might make stops through little islands and look for wildlife. We love to share what we know about the history and culture of Tofino as well as help you become a paddling pro! This tour is perfect for all levels of paddlers and skills will be taught to beginners, and more advanced tours are available for experienced paddlers. This is a unique opportunity to paddle in the undisturbed waters of Tofino, known to the locals as Tofino's secret backyard! Whatever the weather, it's an epic experience and we take care of everything and make sure you have a great time on the water!
