Nautimme kovasti yöpymisestä kohteessa Hof 1. Paikan ainutlaatuinen sijainti sekä taianomainen tunnelma tekivät vierailustamme täydellisen. Paikka on paratiisi erityisesti eläinten ystäville. Islanninhevoset, koirat, kissa sekä lampaat olivat ystävällisiä. The cottage was lovely and in a secluded location surrounded by bird-song and trees, just a short drive from Egilsstadir. The deck outside is expansive and would be great in warmer weather; as it is, the hot tub was terrific after a day of exploring, and for viewing the northern lights! The bedrooms are European-tiny without a lot of room for "stuff", but with only two of us, we were able to spread out a bit and it all worked out just fine. We very enjoyed our stay in this lovely family getaway.

Unser Aufenthalt bei Audur war einfach ausgezeichnet! Komfort: Das Zimmer war stilvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet. Sauberkeit: Alles war makellos und sehr gepflegt. Freundlicher Service: Das Personal war herzlich und hilfsbereit.

Great place. Very spacious and lovingly furnished and decorated. Don’t be scared by the gravel path leading to the property. Once you get there, you will be rewarded with very serene surroundings outside, and a beautiful house inside.

Apartamento limpio y con todas las comodidades. Excelente ubicación con vistas al lago. Estuvimos una noche y nos sentimos como en casa. Muy recomendable.

I had a wonderful stay! The cabin was cozy, clean, and surrounded by stunning nature. The peacefulness and privacy made it a perfect getaway. We were greeted by sheep and horses all around, adding to the charm of the rural setting. The location felt secluded, yet it was easy to access. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet retreat in nature!

Auf unserer Island Rundreise haben wir über die Ostertage diese Unterkunft für 2 Erwachsene und 2 Jugendliche gebucht. Sie ist wirklich traumhaft. Vor allem die Lage! Wir konnten wunderschöne Fotos vom Sonnenuntergang und sogar von den Nordlichtern machen. Da hatten wir richtig Glück. Drinnen ist die Unterkunft wie auf den Fotos beschriebenen. Sie kam uns ein bisschen kleiner als erwartet, was uns aber nicht weiter störte. Wir würden die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen...allerdings haben wir auch vergleichsweise sehr viel bezahlt. Vielleicht lag das daran, weil Ostern war und weil wir so spät gebucht hatten, aber wir haben fast das doppelte bezahlt, was wir in anderen Blockhütten in Island bezahlt haben. Außer dem Preis können wir uns aber nicht beklagen und waren mega happy. Vielen Dank!
