Launching your kayak, SUP or just a nice dip is only 5 mins walk. If you don't mind a drive there are also many provincial parks nearby for hiking.

Welcome to your lakefront oasis in Youbou, British Columbia. Designed as a place for friends and family to gather, the Youbou Lakehouse is a sanctuary where you can unwind and connect with the natural world. Enjoy private lake access, a stunning view, 2 outdoor fire pits, paddle boards, a gorgeous sauna, salt water hot tub, and a massive 85” TV with surround sound. Have fun, but no parties, and please choose another spot if you are unwilling to be considerate of our wonderful neighbors.

Bench 170

Not suitable for children or infants. Lots of concrete and sharp corners. Enjoy the entire upper floor of this unique West Coast Modern home, built in 2012, with use of front lawn. A delight for architecture enthusiasts, Bench 170 was a featured venue for the Sunshine Coast Art Crawl for 7 years. Seaside Escape

Overlooking the beach on Ladysmith Bay, this beautifully appointed and private oceanfront suite boasts unobstructed, floor to ceiling, views of the Bay. From the comfort of your bed, watch the morning sun rise over the water, as you enjoy your morning cup of coffee. Relax all day or evening on the lower seaside deck, while watching the variety of birds, seals, otters, & sea lions . Galiano Island Home by the Sea

From the house or deck watch eagles, seals, porpoises and sea lions fishing, and occasional Orcas passing by. Sunsets are spectacular as the sun goes down over the water and mountains. House is on the edge of the cliff and deck allows you to look straight down to the water. Rooms are spacious, with 3 having sea views and one with a garden view. Underfloor heating throughout house. High cliff so small children under 5 years are not allowed. Large parking area. Three cars.

South facing, sheltered from most of the wind, walk-on oceanfront in the city! Large deck, Solarium, Hot-tub, Kayaks and stunning views (Brandon Islands, Newcastle Island Provincial Park, Birds, Seals, Otters, Boats, Fisheries Canada docks). Swim, Paddle board, Kayak, Beach comb, Picnic or just relax - beside the salt water and a patch of old forest. Nanaimo is centrally located, permitting day trips to Vancover, Victoria and even Tofino. Luke (myself) reside in the suite.

Relm Cottage - quiet beach on a secluded bay

Permit issued from the Islands Trust for this listing for short term vacation rentals. Provincial registration number obtained and valid. Lovely three bedroom cottage on the ocean with private beach access. Sleeps 6 comfortably in 3 bedrooms. Fully fenced side yard, dogs negotiable. Lovely deck facing the ocean - enjoy your morning coffee and evening drink while watching otters, sea lions and whales! We can be reached by email or text message.

Rustic cabin in the woods

Mid-island, this rustic cabin is perfect for any couple (or small group) shacking up in the woods. Features a full kitchen inside, outhouse, outdoor shower, fire pit, covered porch & access to pebble beach trails, making this a magical retreat. Please note that while there is wi-fi at the cabin, there is no cell reception on the property, and many guests have mentioned that they’ve enjoyed the chance to unplug and connect with nature.
