Escape to a very special woodland hideaway in the heart of Fynn Valley. Our well-equipped and thoughtfully converted 1968 Bedford truck with wood burner and underfloor heating sleeps 2 plus 2. It nestles among towering trees and lush greenery overlooking grassy meadows and the Fynn River. Guests have access to our 25 acre nature reserve, one of the most diverse County Wildlife Sites in Suffolk. This retreat is perfect for nature lovers, with all the comforts needed for a restful, memorable stay.

Escape reality in this thoughtfully converted Woodland retreat, in the renowned and secluded 40 acre Pendarves bluebell woods. Near the historic mining town of Camborne, we are a short 20 minute walk from the mainline train station (6 by taxi). A plentiful supply of local attractions, reached most easily by those with their own vehicle. St Ives (13 miles), Falmouth (15 miles), Penzance (20 miles). Sadly we do not allow pets and due to the nature of the site, it is not wheelchair friendly.

Heating and a wood-burner will keep you warm and snug, whilst the kitchen area provides plenty of space to cook up a delicious meal. There is a shower downstairs and a loo and basin upstairs.

I converted it during lockdown #2, and spent a few months living in it last winter, lighting many fires and seeing the occasional otter. The space is solely yours, in a little woodland nook hidden a field deep from the road, you won't see anyone or visa versa. It's also fully fenced, for your pets to enjoy a run around. Both the coast and the relative wilderness of Dartmoor are 30 mins away. Enjoy some stars ✌🏻
