Great place for a snowmobile trip! Trail is only 1.5 miles down the road. The view of superior was fantastic and the house was a comfortable place to hang out when we weren't riding.

This stay was everything we could have hoped for in an AIRBNB. The home is attractive and well appointed, with all the essentials you could possibly need. It’s sparkly clean. It has a wonderful view from every direction. The guide for guests made it so easy to use the mechanicals; and the host is very responsive. Make sure to walk the beach every day. We did! So amazing!!

A wonderful and cozy place to stay on the water. Still a convenient drive to MTU in Houghton. Hosts were friendly and helpful and so accommodating. Will stay again!

We had a great week of snowmobiling out of Nikki’s Lodge on the lake in the woods. Our group of 16 guys had plenty of room to hangout comfortably, plenty of kitchen and eating space, and a great time all being together rather than renting 8 hotel rooms for the week. What a cost savings for us and was way better being together all the time. We snowmobiled out of the cabin to the groomed trails a couple of days, and trailered to Republic and Champion the other days. We had some phenomenal riding. We brought ice fishing gear for the private lake but not enough time on this trip, maybe next time we’ll fish either in summer or winter. The deer walking up to the back deck and eating out of our hands was an awesome experience as well. I would highly recommend Nikki’s place for a big group of family or friends. We will definitely be back again!

This was just what we were looking for. We wanted a landing place to sleep and shower and eat between out adventures and this was the perfect place. It was quiet and relaxing. We even got to see the three legged fox.

Fantastic place. Had all the space we needed. Kitchen had the necessities to cook on site too. Easy access to get to the snowmobile trail. Loved the circle driveway as it made it really easy to navigate and park truck and trailer. Will plan to stay again.

Beautiful home and attentive host! Sam is very thoughtful and thorough. We appreciated the attention to detail and information on the house and area. Sam is easy to communicate with. We found the location great for activities in the Iron River area. The house is well appointed and comfortable. Perfect for our group of six. We loved the view from the kitchen and enjoyed the cozy TV room. Really liked the bed and bath arrangement. One consideration: our winter gear filled the small entry way as there is no real place for coats or ski gear. That said, we would definitely consider staying again! The lake during the summer would be wonderful!
