The Anchorage, Arrochar, was built circa 1913 and has been newly upgraded in December 2019 giving the cottage a luxurious interior with gas central heating and beautiful wood burning stove. Two ensuites and a beautiful bathroom provides guests with plenty of room whilst the large garden with pizza oven and BBQ has amazing views where guests can relax on the decking or seek shade in the lean to. Everyone can use the fire pit, games room or play area to keep occupied or use the Kayaks provided.

The Owl House is a cosy retreat, five minutes from historic Fortingall. This former outbuilding has been lovingly renovated and commands beautiful views over the glen. At night, add some logs to the wood-burning stove, sit back, and enjoy listening to the owls hooting. Glen Lyon, Ben Lawers, Schiehallion, Aberfeldy, Drummond Hill and Loch Tay are just a stones throw away. Well-behaved dogs welcome (please note that we do not allow cats). The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with washer/dryer, microwave, dishwasher etc. Linens are provided for your stay. From 01.09.25 we have a new hot tub and sauna available. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate a Sunday arrival or departure.

There is easy access to beautiful walks within the Queen Elizabeth Forest Park direct from your door step.

Callander is 10 mins drive, with great shops and historic Roman Camp. Or head west for a breathtaking drive past Loch Katrine, and over the Dukes pass and stunning scenery to Aberfoyle and Go Ape!

We chose to call the house Burn View as this is the view you see when looking out from our ceiling to floor window.
