This is the quintessential cottage in the woods. Rustic and charming, the furnishings were simple but comfortable. I loved that the well-equipped kitchen had open shelf and cubby storage, which made it easy to find what I needed and to store and stash our goods. Sadly, We didn’t have time to explore the beautiful area - although we did slip over to Suck creek which we could hear burbling from the house. Lots of chalk marks on the big boulders around the creek - a climbers’ dream. Hiking trails in every direction, and so many beautiful swimming holes. This would be such a great couples stay for the outdoor inclined and any kid’s dream weekend. Susanna was quick to respond and welcoming. We will look for availability again in the future !

This Airbnb was our all-time favorite. the views are amazing the home is clean and there are a couple of awesome, friendly cats😺 that greet you upon arrival and come hang out with you. We enjoyed a nice warm hot tub and the view of fireflies at night.

This was our second stay in the “Sisters Cabin”, and just like our first in 2022, it did not disappoint! Located on a bluff in bucolic, sylvan Monteagle, TN, this is a quiet, restful retreat that features super-comfortable beds, killer sunsets and views and a lovely covered back porch. Colene and her sister, Carla, are consummate, communicative hosts who go the extra mile to make sure you feel at home and are well taken-care of! Carla even came by twice during our weekend to drop off some blankets during an unexpected May cold snap and to re-light the fireplace pilot light. It can be a little tricky to find the place at night or if it’s your first visit, but that is part of the “off-the-beaten-path” vibe that enhances the retreat-like atmosphere of the property. We can’t recommend this quaint, comfortable and clean-as-whistle cabin enough! We also were pleased to see some upgrades and refreshed amenities (blackout blinds, new tile shower in the 3rd BR). This was our second time visiting the property and we had a great time. The host was very responsive we added a couple of days to our visit and it went very smoothly. The views from the property are great and walking distance to the Winchester town square. Very dog friendly with a great deck over looking the Tim’s Ford water. We will definitely stay again and experience the property in the summer season. Highly recommend.

Came down for a wedding, and Gregs place not only was a great launch point for our of our activities, but was a welcoming sight when we were coming back! Very cozy!

My fiancé and I came to visit the area because we were attending a dance competition for his daughters. The area is very beautiful. Mr. Gary was very kind and responsive. The weekend we attended had severe weather that came out of nowhere. We were sight seeing and he alerted us on what was going to happen and how to prepare for safety. Thank you Mr. Gary for the incredible service and hospitality.

What a peaceful beautiful place to stay on the Tennessee River. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and enjoying the view. Clean and roomy and had everything we needed . Would highly recommend

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful one bedroom apartment for two nights. The apartment was incredibly spacious and provided ample storage, which made our stay very comfortable. The cleanliness of the space was outstanding—quite possibly the cleanest place we’ve ever stayed. We were also fortunate enough to enjoy the breathtaking view of the river, which made our time there truly special. While we had a fantastic experience overall, there were a couple of things we wanted to note for future guests. The apartment is located near a rather busy highway and we could hear traffic noise throughout the day and night. Additionally, because the property has adjoining apartments, we were a bit conscious of the sounds we made and the ones coming from neighboring units.

This is the second time I’ve stayed in this lovely apartment. Both times I felt right at home. The space has everything you need to be comfortable during your time on the mountain. The hosts are so friendly and accommodating as well. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient spot to stay on campus. It is so nice to have Amenities like a full kitchen and washer and dryer too!

Walk in to this new and clean place and you are showered with treats and eats! The host really goes overboard to please her guests. Wonderful experience!

Enjoyed the secluded atmosphere, very relaxing. We saw deer several evenings just before dark. Cabin had all the amenities ever needed and more.

Very family friendly place in a safe, spacious environment. The house is exactly like the photos. Beds are comfortable and there’s a lot of outdoor space. We struggled with the front door lock so we ended up leaving it locked and used an unlocked door on the back porch when we left. This was a great location near a wedding venue. It was basically the only place we could find or honestly I would not have paid as much. We did receive last minute check in info that said we couldn’t turn the air below 74 because he said the unit would freeze up and if so we would have to pay the service fee. This was not in the listing and the owner retracted that request.

My husband and I had a great time at the cabin. The property is incredibly peaceful. We probably spent 99% of our time just staring at the view. We loved the goats and chickens and even had a visit from a sweet neighborhood dog. We will definitely be coming back sometime!

We loved this property! We only got to stay one night but enjoyed a nice sunset watching a family of geese in the nearby pond and listening to nature from the hot tub. All four of us loved it (from 5 year old to 75 year old)! Genette was very helpful and responsive. Cabin was super cozy and welcoming! We will be back!

It was really really really perfect. I love it and definitely I will come back. The view was very good and the host was very respectful It was really two days to remember and definitely will come back.

This is an amazing home, on a beautiful location and with fantastic hosts. The home is just like the pictures - wonderful beds, stocked kitchen, new coffee pot!!, new carpets, amazing hot tub and a fantastic fire pit. The most amazing view from a mountain top overlooking a great valley. Owners are responsive and easy to reach. Truly everything we 3 cousins need for a restful stay.

PERFECT lake view log cabin! We adored everything about our stay, from the expansive window views, to the very comfortable bedding. Can’t forget the glorious deep bathtub too! The flexible check in/out time was the best Airbnb perk we ever experienced, we will be back in the future! Clean, spacious, & peaceful. Thanks a bunch Beth!
