La casa è un piccolo cottage bucolico in mezzo alla natura, con una splendida vista sul mare e sul verde, gli unici suoni sono quelli delle pecorelle al pascolo. Ci siamo sentiti a casa, in un ambiente confortevole a cui non manca davvero nulla. Non abbiamo potuto stare molto sul portico, data la pioggia, ma abbiamo goduto del fuoco nella stufa che aveva già tutto l’occorrente per i due giorni che siamo stati lì. In generale consiglio questo posto soprattutto se avete qualche giorno da spendere sull’isola di Skye e nessuna fretta di girarla, essendo a sud per alcune attrazioni naturali dell’isola non è comoda la distanza, ma avendo tempo non c’è alcun problema. Grazie mille ad Anita per la sua gentilezza e disponibilità.

We had a wonderful stay at Iona chalet. Everything was very straight forward and great communication with Sally. The chalet was perfect with some lovely personal touches (birthday card, wine and local produce). Some great recommendations for restaurants highly recommended the Tigh & Truish & The Old Inn ( worth the drive!). Seil is a beautiful Island well worth a visit. The chalet is a beautiful peaceful location. Would highly recommend & Sally was a great host.

Fabulous stay at Rhanna. The cottage was immaculate and extremely bright and comfortable. Tastefully decorated with wonderful, quirky touches and a well appointed kitchen/utility with everything needed for our stay. Best of all is the fantastic view over Mallaig to Skye. We were fortunate with the weather for the time of year and were treated to stunning sunsets and enjoyed the afternoon sunshine in the neat back garden. We were also delighted with the thoughtful touches - milk in fridge, shortbread and a doggie care pack. The cottage is only a short walk to the shops and is well situated for exploring the surrounding area, the silver sands at Morar being a particular favourite of ours, and plenty of great walks. A stop at the bakery is a must to stock up on the Mallaig sourdough bread and sweet treats. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to book again or recommend to anyone looking to visit the area.

Magnifique cottage. Iain et Violet sont des personnes très accueillantes et font tout pour rendre votre séjour facile. Le poêle était préparé pour faire une flambée à notre arrivée. Leur gîte est charmant, bien décoré et confortable. Le tout dans un bel environnement avec vue sur le Loch Shiel. Si nous repassons par là nous reviendrons sans hésiter.

For the second time we did visit this hidden gem in the highlands. Grant and Laura are very welcoming and helpful with any questions we had. The house is perfect for a family of four. It has everything you need, including comfortable beds. With a little drive their are some great beaches with only few visitors. For a good hike try to climb the Resipole or one of the other mountains. On a clear day the views on top are second to none Lastly you can visit the restaurant at the Strontian hotel (aka Bothy bar) Great food, with an exceptional view. We did visit many spots in Scotland but Ardnamurchan is definitely our favourite. It is as beautiful as Skye but without the busloads of tourists

We stayed 4 nights with two children (9 and 11 years old) in Elizabeth´s house and it was just amazing. Elizabeth is very friendly and the house is spotless clean, comfortable and cozy. The view is amazing and we enjoyed cooking in the fully equipped kitchen. There is much to do in this beautiful part of Scotland and we are sure to come back one day. Thank you very much for the great time in Lochailort!

We hebben een topverblijf gehad. We zijn hartelijk ontvangen door de vader van de verhuurder, die ons ook nog geweldige tips heeft gegeven over de omgeving om te kunnen doen. Het terrein waar het huis op staat is prachtig en het is de moeite waard om een ommetje te maken en een heuvel te beklimmen, om de omgeving te bekijken. Een heerlijke rust hangt er over het hele terrein, waardoor je heerlijk bij kunt komen. Het huis zelf zit vol met luxe en is alles wat je nodig hebt tijdens een verblijf. Wij zijn niets tekort gekomen.

Our stay at Tigh na Sith was delightful in every way. It was beautiful, cozy, comfortable, stimulating and easy to navigate. Just loved every minute of it she gave great advice on local eats and things to do and provided a well-outfitted home. We just loved it 💕

Ein sehr besonserer Ort mit sehr herzlichen und entspañnten Gastgebern. Ein sehr liebevoll restauriertes Haus mit viel Kunst im Haus und viel Natur (Fluss direkt am Haus) außerhalb. Die Nc'Neandistillerye ist auf alle Fälle einen Besuch wert. Anmeldung unbedingt erforderlich. Auch Tobermory ist relativ einfach zu erreichen.
