Best Grocery store This is known as the Bondi Hub area, lots of restaurants next to Harris Farm Markets... including Da Orazio Pizza and Porcetta, China Diner, Messina Gelato and famous Bill's breaky

Harris Farm Market is where we try to do most of food shopping, it has good quality food, especially fruit and vegetables. However it is easy to get carried away as the food always looks so inviting

A fruit & veg store that also has an amazing selection of dips, cheese, meat, fresh bread or anything else you may like to eat

• Brilliantly combined cafe and book store concept • Famous for their Chai tea which comes out in a Tea pot and its freshly brewed • Try the pesto eggs with Bondi-famous "Iggy bread"

Dendy Newtown offers mainstream movies but also a bit of art house! There are lots of restaurants which offer a movie meal deal. Make sure to ask!

The Dendy shows cult movies before they're cult. The cinema had a revamp a few years back but retains its quirky small-town charm.

The Dendy is about a 15 minute walk from home. Its a nice little movie theatre that shows lots of interesting independent films as well as all the blockbusters. Good choc tops.

Same owners as Lox , Brown Sugar has been around forever. Brilliant food for dinner and Breaki Friday- Sunday. Try the mojo eggs or the pancakes, or the black stone eggs.. or actually ANYTHING :)

Great for breakfast/brunch. Great for dinner (the fish pie is everyone's favourite!). Book ahead for dinner.

Sydney famous gelato to die for - Salted Caramel and Poached Figs are my favourite. Watch out for the long queue from 9pm to 10pm!

You can't leave Surry Hills without eating this Gelato! There are often lines down the block so try to avoid going after dinner time. New specials every week, so you'll need to go back!

Awesome gelato spot, there's one in Darlinghurst and Surry hills. Has new and whacky flavour combinations every week. For the traditional flavour, pistachio is amazing and the mango/coconut sorbet.
