What a fascinating museum even if you don't like museums! It's a great place to spend the day when it's 110 degrees outside. The concerts offered are first class and there isn't a bad seat in the house.

Sears Kay Ruins are a wonderful short hike north of North Scottsdale that shows you what life was like long ago complete with Hohokam Indian ruins...high on a hill overlooking a water source and one can definitely imagine what life was like long ago. Hike is only a mile or so round trip. After an early morning hike breakfast at the Black Mountain Cafe in Carefree is a fun place to go and eat outside.
