Famous gastrobar in Amsterdam. Wander up the Amstelveenseweg and check-it out. It is an interesting concept with every dish priced at 15 EUR but the food is exquisite and the surrounding lovely.

The Vondeltuin Cafe inside the park is a lovely spot for lunch in summer, or just for a morning coffee. It is literally 5 min from here & also has a separate kids playground for those in need.

Being Australian, I was delighted to find this little Aussie Cafe just 10 min walk from my apartment off the Hoofdorplein. Everything is homemade including the cakes and the do a good breakfast too.

Be warned / this place has the most beautiful assortments of cakes, chocolates and other sweet delights you will see! Impossible to resist. I´ve taken small boxes of chocolates and biscuits from here on many occasions as gifts when travelling to see friends.
