T: 1-877-433-7347 Edmonton’s river valley is an urban gem, with over 150 km of breathtaking trails for running, biking, snow shoeing, cross country skiing etc. River Valley Adventure Co. offers year round Segway tours, mountain bike rentals, stand up paddle boarding, sports equipment rentals (badminton and volleyball sets, croquet and bocce sets, footballs, soccer balls) and many more fun activities to enjoy in the park. For fishing enthusiasts, they also rent fishing gear to go fish off one of the public docks down at the Riverfront Promenade. You can even get your fishing license right at the store!

For fishing enthusiasts, they also rent fishing gear to go fish off one of the public docks down at the Riverfront Promenade. You can even get your fishing license right at the store!

If you like country music and to wear your cowboy/cowgirl hat and boots this is the place to go dancing. They also play pop music. Always a fun time either way.

Check out their lineup for concerts and music events during your stay. Some are free before 10:30 pm but you need to get their much earlier or you won't make it in by then. You also have to put up with 18 year old drunkards but if this doesn't bother you, you'll enjoy the night.

The most beautiful part of the magnificant Edmonton Parks system that leads to the River Valley. Definately worth the hike. Try geocaching if you have a smart phone.

Most notable: red-necked grebes, American white pelicans, double-crested cormorants, great blue herons, red-tailed hawks, American bitterns and the trumpeter swans.
