Cute and spacious café in Gamla Stan (Old Town), with sandwiches, sallads and pastries. Mid-range prices, but good quality. One of my favorite spots to just sit around and chill for a whole afternoon.

A Wayne's Coffee is always a Wayne's Coffee. OK prices, excellent chai latte (only place I've found where you can reliably get a vegan latte in Stockholm) and great coffee-to-go. Not much to eat here.

Cheap, cosy bar. If you're looking for some genuine swedish ölning (beerdrinking) this is the place to go. LGBT friendly, good prices, also has affordable food. Not a fancy place, but very swedish.

Remember, you can't buy alcohol outside of the Systembolaget in Sweden. This one is basically just across the road from the apartment.. Just remember it closes early, and doesn't open on sundays.
