This is an ale house with great food. It is a casual scene, where you are likely to hang out with locals. I like the burgers and my mom likes the home-made soups. There is small outdoor seating in the back.

In addition to their standard menu, they have a quarterly menu based upon a theme, which keeps the things fun and interesting. I love the pulled pork sandwich with sweet potato fries. Mom goes there for their breakfasts. They have a good early and after hours happy hour, featuring a full bar and snacks.

They have a great Happy Hour (from 4:30-5:45PM), good price if you time it right. If you miss the happy hour, the food is still delicious, but you will pay the higher price.

New Orleans inspired menu is absolutely delicious. They have a happy hour breakfast. I like the steak and eggs, and save room for the beignets. They have a huge menu so stick to something you love or try something different.

At Lynn Street and 5th Avenue North is a special look-out over Lake Union. On a clear day you can see Mt. Baker, University of Washington, Bellevue (the city Microsoft built) and house boats made famous by the movie "Sleepless in Seattle." The city comes here to watch our fireworks on the 4th of July. To get there, go East on McGraw to Bieglow, take a left on to Linn, and it will dead end in one block at the vista point.
