Drinks & Nightlife

The Prince is our local pub, and serves great drinks as well as evening meals. The building itself is a restored Victorian Freehouse, and has lovely dark, brooding walls and floors, but is light and spacious too with an outside area for summer nights. The food here in very good, and has a separate restaurant section which you can book (essential for larger groups and on the weekend)!

Sightseeing

Hampstead Heath is hands down my favourite place in all of London! It's one of London's largest and wildest spaces, and you can ramble through the Heath for hours finding new tracks and feeling like you've completely left London behind in its small, tree-covered pathways. There is a lovely view of London from the top of the hill. Idle the afternoon away on the grass, or even your swimsuit to take a dip in one the ponds. If you like, you can even have a cup of tea at the former stately home, Kenwood House. To get to Hampstead Heath from Stoke Newington, take a bus to Dalston Kingsland station and then take then overground train to Gospel Oak station (approximately 20 mins).
