Train to Marrickville from St Peters is fast and easy, or alternatively an Uber will get you there for not much more than $10.

The entire park was once all cemetery and the grave stones lining the walls are the ones that used to cover the rest of the area. With its beautiful old trees, grassy lawns and wild flowers growing everywhere its great place for a picnic (although expect dogs to be there as its also an off leash dog park, all the dogs are cute and friendly).
