There is often a line out the door to order and a bit of a wait for your food to be ready, with just a few outdoor tables to sit at. So maybe carry the foot as takeout and take it with you to eat at the beach!

Definitely some of the best coffee in town! I got the Trophy Wife which is a Macadamia Nut flavored coffee and it was amazing. Decent line so be prepared but, they grind that coffee fresh and this spot has such a well rounded flavor to their roast. I definitely will be coming out of my way to have this coffee! I suggest stopping in since it was recently named best coffee in the country! Wow!

The spot is perfect, with a fourth floor view of the sunset and beach, (also a nearer sight of cute girls doing aerial yoga ;) The outdoor seating is comfy and welcoming but we couldn't work out the heaters. No matter, my boo and I sat inside, admired the cute things for sale and INHALED the amazing food. The vegan tacos were remarkably tasty with home-made tortillas but the rolled eggplant dish with 'cheese' crust was just the bomb! I sort of cheekily asked for the recipe but was shot down politely. It was such a winner... Still, I'll have t

It's a moderately challenging hike. My 4 year old niece quit about a 1/4 mile to the top. Her 6 year old sister said "We can't climb to the top of the mountain, it's pointy." She'd never seen a mountain before :) It's about a 45min-1hour hike and the top of the mountain has a 360 degree view of everything San Diego. Go early if it's going to be a hot day, bring a bottle of water
