Some of Bushwick's finest dining- amazing brick oven pizza, fresh breads and locally sourced ingredients. They recently won a Michelin star- foodies love this place. Worth the walk but expect long late times for dinner. Try early evenings or lunch for less time spent waiting, although you can give them your phone number and explore the shops and galleries around here while you wait.

This is my favorite place in the neighborhood to come for lunch, brunch or dinner especially when I'm alone. Seating for a larger group tends to have long waits but for individuals there is almost always a seat available at the bar. It's definitely worth the 5 minute taxi/bike ride or the 20 minute walk. Walk or ride through McCarren park to get there. The restaurant is on the North West corner of the park. The Moroccan scramble is my favorite.

I have heard great things about Brooklyn brewery but I haven't visited the brewery myself. I have taken Anheuser-Busch brewery tour in St. Louis. I will probably take a tour this summer. I heard/read that the tour is good. Also you get a good view of Manhattan from there.

Prospect Park was designed by Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux after their completion of Manhattan's Central Park. Main attractions of the park include the 90-acre (36 ha) Long Meadow; the Picnic House; Litchfield Villa, the pre-existing home of Edwin Clark Litchfield, an early developer of the neighborhood and a former owner of a southern section of the Park; Prospect Park Zoo; a large nature conservancy managed by the Wildlife Conservation Society; The Boathouse, housing a visitors center and the first urban Audubon Center; Brooklyn's only lake, covering 60 acres (24 ha); the Prospect Park Bandshell that hosts free outdoor concerts in the summertime. The park also has sports facilities including seven baseball fields in the Long Meadow, and the Prospect Park Tennis Center, basketball courts, baseball fields, soccer fields, and the New York Pétanque Club in the Parade Ground. There is also a private Society of Friends cemetery on Quaker Hill near the ball fields, where actor Montgomery Clift is interred.

Fantastic and unique urban park built on elevated railroad tracks. Arrive there via c-train (8th ave line) to 34th and walk west to 11th Ave to access. Enjoy a leisurely walk the length of the park south to Gansevoort Street; So much to see and enjoy: history, architecture, NY-in-motion, view of the Hudson River, lush gardens, fun-food, New York's old and new! A personal favorite. One of the finest museums in the US. "Suggested Admission" means if you buy tickets at a museum ticket counter, the amount you pay is up to you. Ticket includes same-day admission to The Met Fifth Avenue, The Met Breuer, and The Met Cloisters. Met Rooftop Bar and Garden offers sweeping views of Central Park and beyond that can be enjoyed with wine, cocktails, and light bites. It is often busy with crowds, but the scenery and the special atmosphere make it well-worth a trip. Try to go on a weekday when the crowds have thinned. Closed Thanksgiving Day, December 25, January 1, and the first Monday in May.

Very big, natural history museum. The American Museum of Natural History (abbreviated as AMNH), located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, New York City, is one of the largest museums in the world. Located in park-like grounds across the street from Central Park, the museum complex comprises 28 interconnected buildings housing 45 permanent exhibition halls, in addition to a planetarium and a library. The museum collections contain over 130 million specimens of plants, humans, animals, fossils, minerals, rocks, meteorites, and human cultural artifacts, of which only a small fraction can be displayed at any given time, and occupies more than 2,000,000 square feet (190,000 m2). *Always pay what you will*

The museums in New York are wonderful. Radio City is a landmark and has magnificent shows. New York is a mecca for every type of ethnic foods you could ever want pricing from a few dollars to as much as you want to spend. New York restaurants have the most delicious foods anywhere. They are in a class by themselves. You also have to visit Central Park, stroll down Fifth Avenue, window shop the avenues and experience the city nightlife. You won't find it anywhere else in the world. And then there is Broadway. The plays on Broadway are second to none. The Tony Awards are for Broadway and is a must see as a fabulous tourist must. New York..the land of dreams..what's your pleasure? New York has it.
