Innovative Japanese tapas-style sharing dishes, and a great selection of beers, wines, shochu and sake. Owner Andy is usually on hand to make sure you are looked after, and the set lunch menus are incredible value for money.

Little known, but truly fantastic Turkish cuisine and wine. A choice of tasting menus or A La Carte, this new restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

Drinks & Nightlife

Owned and run by good friends of ours, Georgia and Greg, Treehouse offers some of the best breakfasts in town, along with cold pressed juices and great coffee. Later in the day the menu moves to a mix of tapas-style bites, pizzas, and a few more substantial offerings. The daily specials are always worth a look, and the substantial cocktail list is always impressive (try the Passionfruit Cubby), featuring 6 different variations on the traditional espresso martini. Sunday afternoons also feature "acoustic sessions", with rotating drink specials and $10 pizzas all night long. If you fancy venturing a bit further afield, make sure you visit Georgia and Greg's new bar "Mr & Mrs P" in Brighton!
