Food Scene

Union Station has something for everyone and is a great hub to start exploring Lodo (lower downtown). There are a couple great restaurants, a few shops, icecream parlor, cafe with top-notch coffee, breakfast joint (Snooze, a Denver establishment), and a bar in the center of it all. For a romantic rendezvous, try the Cooper lounge upstairs. In addition, during the summer there are fountains out front which are great fun for the kids.

Vine Street is close to our house and one of our favorites. The atmosphere is casual and fun and the burgers are scrumptious. You'll find a plethora of games in the corner for your amusement and may even stumble across live music. One tip, the joint is cash only. If you don't have any on you there is an ATM in the back.

This is Lynsey's favorite French restaurant in town. It's pricey, but totally worth it. We save it for special occasions when we really want to splurge and feel indulged.

Drinks & Nightlife

This classic Denver establishment is not to miss if you're looking for bars near the house. It's a tiny bar with eclectic decor. It's known for the infused vodkas made in house. Best for smaller groups as you'll find it difficult to seat a large group together.
