This is where all the hipsters hang out. It´s the old meatpacking district and there are some really nice bars, restaurants and nightclubs.

Christianshavns Ramparts form a playground for children and a place to enjoy long runs. The old bastions and paths along the moat also make a great walking route. There have been trees and shrubs here since the fortifications were built in the 1600s, and out on the moat live coots, moorhens, grebes and swans.

A Belgian deli. The owner Eric is obviously very passionate about what he does and it shows. Delicious meats, cheese, and a great wine and beer selection. It is a very unique place. Perfect place to stock up for a picnic.

There is no way around it. You´ve got to go to the top of the tower. It´s a bit scary, but the view is amazing.

We have been waiting may years for this bridge that connects Nyhavn with Christianshavn. Now it´s finally here and its a really nice walk or bike ride with a great view.

A must see.
Be aware that cameras are not popular at Christiana, particularly in Pusher Street.
I recommend you walk along the nice lake and look at some interesting houses/architecture. The map is not accurate. You have to move a little further down Prinsessegade or by the lake to get to the main area of Christiana.

It was built as an astronomical observatory. It is most noted for its equestrian staircase, a 7.5-turn helical corridor leading to the top, and for the expansive views it affords over Copenhagen
