Best barbecue in Texas. Expect very long lines - usually you need to show up around 7 AM or so and will eat around 12 or 1 PM, so make a fun day out of it - we usually bring a table, chairs, board games, and drink mimosas while waiting. They usually sell out of food each day around 2 or 3.

Best nights to go are Thursday for Motown night or Friday for 80s night to dance your socks off. Connected to Swan Dive, a bar next door, so if there is a cover go through Swan Dive and you can just hop around through the back for free.

Parks & Nature

Zilker Park is nice and all, but the greenbelt is wonderful. It is a huge stretch of Barton Creek that begins way out in Bee Caves and goes all the way until it hits Barton Springs (which you also want to go swim in). Waterfalls, Texas jungle, rope swings, and cliffs make for great hiking, swimming tubing (buy your own at local HEB grocery stores), rock climbing, small cliff jumping and chilling. There are multiple different entrances so just Google greenbelt entrances Austin to pick the best for you. Twin Falls, Sculpture Falls, Spyglass, and Campbell's Hole are the most popular spots.
