My favourite cafe/restaurant in the area. Breakfast pizza is awesome or go for their Rocket with avocado and seared scallops for breakfast or brunch. The menu here is really varied and interesting. Very popular so you may have to wait 5 minutes for a table, but it's worth waiting for. Close to Mahon Pool so take your swimming costume and towel and have a swim or a walk by the ocean after lunching.

This is where I choose to go to meet friends or celebrate a birthday close to home. The food and the service is excellent. Mains start from $30, starters from $15.
This is THE place to sit on the verandah on an afternoon from noon and overlook Coogee Beach. Epic views from both the 1st floor verandah and the Rooftop |Bar. The drinks are a little more expensive than Coogee Bay Hotel, and you can dress up a little and feel comfortable here. It's a lot more upmarket than the Coogee Bay Hotel but the views are worth the extra price for the drinks. You can order tapas plates and many different snacks and meals. Children are welcome but must remain on the ground floor. There is a children's entertainment area there. Be aware that at night, this becomes a nightclub and is swarming with people aged 25-45. Very popular with locals and visitors.
