A modern take on Indian street food in Bombay style interior. Highly recommended and definitely worth a visit. It's very popular so it might be prudent to book in advance or be prepared to wait. The wait isn't so bad as they often serve nibbles and drinks to those waiting in the queue! Dishoom can also be found in Kings Cross, Shoreditch, Covent Garden and Carnaby Street. FYI Never thought of Indian food for brunch / breakfast? Then you have to go here!

Authentic Italian food at reasonable prices. Yes, it's a chain but that doesn't stop it from serving good quality food. You can eat in or take away. The foccacia here is to die for! Carluccios can be found all across London but the closest to our apartment can be found downstairs in St.Pancras ,right next to the famous "The Lovers Statue".

Here you will find well priced wraps, prepared salads, soups and stews. But the best thing about Chop'd is that it's one of those places where you can build your own salad and, depending on what you opt for, the servings are huge and very filling making one of the best value places to eat in Kings Cross. Chop'd also have a branch on the Euston Road and various other locations across London.

Coming to London and not seeing Tower Bridge would be like going to Italy and not eating gelato and pizza! This iconic London landmark is accessible to the public at all times. What most visitors to London don't realise is that there is actually a Tower Bridge Exhibition. For a fee you can step inside the most famous bridge in the world and explore its structure, exhibitions, Victorian engine rooms, enjoy spectacular views and, if you are feeling brave enough, the glass floor. The bridge is stunning at night time when all lit up.

One of many historic Royal palaces to be found in London the Tower of London offers lots in the way of history and there's lots to see and do; The Crown Jewels, the White Tower, Yeoman Warders, the Torture Tower and, not forgetting the ravens. (Legend has it that if the ravens were ever to leave the Tower that it would fall!) In the peak summer months the Tower is exceptionally busy. If possible book ahead or be prepared to queue.
