In our opinion, the best (and reasonably priced) Indian restaurant owned by and Indian restauranteur, great staff that have been working there for 20+ years, all choices, from gluten-free vegan to meats and delicacies, literally a 5 minute walk, less than 2 blocks away. Try the Thaly (vegetarian or non-vegetarian tasting menu).

The hottest spot in Sao Paulo with great background music, international crowd, roof top bar of the Unique Hotel, great drinks, tapas, Japanese rolls, amazing views of the city, especially on a full moon or starry night, just 5-10 minute car ride away.

This is a roof top bar and restaurant in our very neighborhood, second only to the Skye as mentioned before. It is smaller and more peaceful, on top of the highest hill around here. Amazing views and perfect for sunset, especially during summer as the sun sets between 7 and 8 pm. They have good quality live music. And you can enjoy it to the fullest, since it is just 4 1/2 blocks away on Alameda Santos (which is the second street from our corner heading towards Avenue Paulista). Not worth taking a taxi or Uber. It is an 8-10 minute walk.

The View Bar

Also musical acts happen in different parts of this avenue, lots of eating choices, from food trucks to restaurants and malls, and museus like MASP or Casa das Rosas with its exhibits, amongst others. Great especially on sunny days. JUST 3 blocks away.

Arts & Culture
This museus keeps many pieces of famous European masters, from Vincent van Gogh to Claude Monet and Paul Cézanne. What you may not be aware of is that this were pieces bought by a Brazilian who then founded this museum. These are pieces you will not see anywhere else, unless they leave for a temporary exhibit somewhere else. There many other important painters, as well as several incredible Brazilian artists. It is a big museum you could spend at least an afternoon at. Again, right on Paulista, about 7 blocks away from our home, or a 10-15 minute walk. No hassle with traffic which means freedom to explore the city on foot, via subway (which could take you directly to PINACOTECA as well).

If you drop your clothes there, they can deliver them back to our doormen, who will let you know they have arrived and all you do is take your clean laundry back to the apartment. Super easy and convenient. Also, we do have a washer and dryer in house if you prefer.
