Pays homage to the old days of rock n' roll with the vintage posters that line the jade green walls and the playlist that pumps away all night. The kitchen is open til late with bar snacks & mains available. This is the place to congregate with the locals along the bar and chill out after a big day out.

One of my personal favourites that I have been visiting since my first time in Sydney in the early 90's. Check out contemporary Australian artists in the John Kaldor gallery or the finest 18th century collection from around the world in the old wing. Also a permanent indigenous display of the first peoples paintings & sculpture. There is also a permanent Asian Gallery that changes regularly focusing on South East Asian art.
Great views of Sydney harbour from the windows and a well-stocked gallery shop and two cafes to choose from for lunch. Open late on Wednesdays til 10pm
