If you want to experience something a bit different, this place has a really interesting menu (not your everyday, usual stuff). Don't let the shabby street frontage put you off. Dining is at the back, in an outside courtyard and it is really an excellent restaurant. BYO makes it even more outstanding.

This is THE BEST restaurant in Townsville. Very creative food in a "romantic" setting and it's BYO - doesn't matter how good the wine there will be a food match!
