Just a short drive or train trip to Cleveland harbour. Catch a water taxi and get a bus around this magnificient island or take your car or 4wd on the barge and explore at your leisure or drive on the famous main beach (4wd).

Straddie is literally surrounded by the most superb beaches in the world, and has some beautiful freshwater lakes.

Stradbroke and Moreton Islands are great islands to visit and easy to get to from Brisbane. Also, out in the bay is King Island where you can walk out to from Wellington Pt at low tide. All have their own cafes, pubs or resorts and need to be checked out online.
