There is a great collection of the Russian art in the Russian museum. The building itself is a beautiful Mikhailovskiy palace, built by K.I.Rossi. The atmosphere of the museum is very friendly, one can sit on the soft benches and enjoy the most eminent Russian masterpieces of all époques.
