A nice 2.7 mile loop with river and peak views (note there are other trails that intersect with this one in case you want more mileage!). There is one confusing spot on the trail that goes through a Whiteface parking lot. Cross the lot and go towards your left, you will see the trail pick back up. Suitable for dogs. The first half of the hike is harder than the second half.

Gorgeous swimming hole and waterfall a short hike down from the road. Park just off the side of Route 86 and take 5-10 minutes to hike down to several wading pools, waterfalls, and areas to explore.
