Way before my neighborhood became a suburb of metro Phoenix, it was filled with farms, ranches and taco shacks. This one has stood the test of time and I love it here--it's just a few miles down the road, and very close to Phoenix-Mesa Gateway airport. You can eat inside, but I love sitting outside at one of the picnic tables in the sand. (Indoor seating flows with pandemic guidelines). This is a perfect place to enjoy solo: they make bonfires in the cooler months when I've sat by the fire and just watched the full moon rise; I've also brought my grandkids here so they can just run around and play while we enjoy our tacos. And there's just nothing here to empty your wallet! This is solid authentic Arizona food and ambience right here--eclectic crowd and adult beverages too!

Nothing like the beach in the desert. Neighborhood restaurant. Tacos, margaritas, it's all good. Outside games for kids, "beach" volley ball, inside/ outside bar.
