You can get discounted broadway tickets for shows the same day. Not all shows are available, but a good way to save some money yet still see a show.

Want to see a Broadway show, but don't care what it is? There's a ticket booth in the center of Times Square that sells all the remaining, unsold theater tickets for a discount. You have to purchase them that morning. You're not going to find Hamilton here, but you will find Phantom of the Opera or The Lion King.

Get same day discounted tickets (often 50% off) to a variety of Broadway shows. Best to get there before 10 am for matinees and by 3 pm for evening performances.
