It's the one of the most important place in Istanbul. You can climb to the tower and have a delicious meal there while you're watching the city view.

You are free to go up :) by paying of course :)) You may also choose a rooftop here in sunset and enjoy a glass of wine:) Walk towards istiklal from galata.. You may go into Pera which is the real Beyoğlu spot. From Pera go to Cihangir by walking a bit :) in İstiklal Street. It is pretty crowded so, enter to as many small streets as you can. And you can catch some building architecture meanwhile

Galata tower is a classic spot to visit when in Istanbul and for good reason. It makes for quite an impressive sight, both outside and inside, and offers an amazing 360 view of Istanbul. Explore some of the shops around that area as well, many offer wares unique to Turkey.

Galata tower is a tower in the Beyoğlu district of Istanbul, Turkey. It is named after the quarter in which it's located, Galata. Built as a watchtower at the highest point of the Walls of Galata,the tower is now an exhibition space and museum, and one of the symbols of Beyoğlu and Istanbul.
