A Tangier icon, the almost-century-old cafe is made up of tiers of whitewashed balconies that cascade down a steep hillside toward the Mediterranean, opening panoramic views of the sea and, beyond, Spain. Sip sweet tea with crushed mint leaves (~7 dirhams) and gaze at that long-lost Moorish treasure across the strait.

A place to go to sip mint tea while looking at the great view over the sea to Spain.

-Café Hafa is a café in Tangier, Morocco, located along the cliff overlooking Tangier Bay. Opened in 1921, the café has retained its 1920s style of decoration and over the years has been visited by many writers and singers, Paul Bowles and William S. Burroughs, the Beatles and the Rolling Stones. Coffee is known for its mint tea, a Tangier special drink

One does not simply come to Tangier without visiting Café Hafa, a spot where you can enjoy mint tea & sea view. I highly recommend going there especially in the morning.
