West Dean College is part of The Edward James Foundation, a registered charity which also comprises West Dean Gardens, West Dean Estate and West Dean Tapestry Studios. The Foundation's mission is to provide, through West Dean College, the highest quality education in creative arts and conservation and be internationally recognised as a centre of excellence.

Why not book in for a course ! West Dean College, used to be home to Edward James, one of his great friends was Salvador Dali ! Who had a great influence on Edward James when it came to interior decoration, designing carpets with foot prints, supposedly Dali’s and sofa’s like giant lips ! Now a famous arts,crafts and restorations college, where you can do just a weekend course, or longer, and learn anything from designing and making Stained Glass, Wood Carving and Book Binding, to Antique Furniture Restoration, Flower Pressing, and Pottery, to list just a few ! You can book a residential short course, or live out. Beautifully set at the foot of the South Downs. A 10 minute drive from Midhurst.

Beautiful walled gardens and arboretum. Set in the South Downs. Tea rooms worth a visit. Plants and gardening gifts for sale in the shop.
