One of Salem’s largest parks, there are plenty of trails for biking or walking with wildlife and bird viewing. Numerous playgrounds for children, it also host a tennis court and Derby Hill used for soapbox derby and running alike. This is also home to the Willamette University football, baseball field and track, Bush Barn Art Museum, and Deepwood Historic House. This is also where Salem Art Fair and Festival is held in July.

See the small gallery (free) in the park. A great place to walk and admire the rose garden. Also, the solarium has interesting plants.

They also have a nice running trail all the way around it, great for jogging.
