Very traditional Samba School that starts rehearsing for the official Carnival parade in October. From October until the Carnival date, you can go to the rehearsals and listen to the Samba School Drum on Thursdays and Sundays evenings. Highly Recommended!!!

During Carnaval season (last trimester of the year and first two months of the folllowing year) this escola de samba gathers weekly for open rehearsals. You should definitely check them out!

Vai-Vai is a traditional samba community you can lean some percussion tricks before the Carnival arrives - practises hold on Sundays.

If you like samba, search "vai vai" on Google to check when they are gonna have the live school playing. It is definitely a very Brazilian experience, great drums and good vibes.
