A good inexpensive Afghane restaurant. It's a "bring your own wine". Un bon restaurant Afghan bon marché. C'est un "apportez votre vin".

Leave the French flair of the city and enter into this exotic Afghan eatery. Carnivores and herbivores alike will enjoy this taste of the Middle East without leaving the Urban Chic.

Khyber Pass, like most restaurants in the same little corner, has a bring your own wine policy. No corking fee. And, wouldn't you know it, there's a liquor store right nearby. If you like melt-in- your-mouth, fall-off- the-bone lamb, this is my recommendation! Soooo delicious and, if you're anything like me, you'll have to bring at least half of it home for later. The portions are massive. They've got a lovely terrace out back so, if it's a pretty day, maybe call in advance and ask to reserve a spot out there. Bon apetit!
